IGN's review.. Damn, this and the Super Mario Wii (looks fantastic as well) are really making me want to buy a Wii again. Damn you Nintendo. I know my bank account will be doomed when I see the next Zelda game

Oh man I already knew it would 10's across the board! I gave the first one all 10's! Mario is a classic and never goes out of style. Gamefly should be shipping mines tomorrow I believe. Cant wait! Got Em!!

Gametrailers gave it 9.7/10 which is a massive score for them to give. Damn i now have to get this, Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake.

mario galaxy 2 is on sale 2moro at frys for 39.99

frys is kinda far for me...so im just taking the ad to best buy and getting it price matched.....39.99 for a new game that got a 10 review...never wouldve thought lol.

10 Overall/Presentation/Gameplay/Lasting Appeal, no problem.

10 in Graphics and sound? Uhh...what?

I understand enthusiasm for a game, but if you have separate categories you need to get someone who can actually separate the categories in their own head to do the review, otherwise don't have separate categories, just one overall score.

Mario galaxy 2 can have a 10 in sound/graphics....for one...most mario games have music that everyone remembers..and little sounds that make it easy to stand out...so i can see the sound getting a 10.....as for graphics...in this day and age...i would be concerned since the wii is 480p at best...but maybe they didnt judge on it being HD...maybe they judged on how it actually looked with the colors..and art...if you played the first mario galaxy you would know it looked very close to a xbox 360 game far as graphics went.....All the news of mario galaxy 2 really being mario galaxy 1.5 made me skeptical about the 10 score...But its a very highly anticipated game this year...alot of people loved the first...and there is a challenge / fun factor about it...even tho it is the wii and people write it off too quick...I'm glad the wii got a 10 out of 10...and there was a 9.7 out of 10 on another review...

Reviews are amazing as expected. My only hope is that they made this game more challenging than the first Mario Galaxy.

I picked up mario galaxy 2 at best buy today for 39.99 (used frys ad)

They also gave me a couple stacks of mario galaxy 2 stickers lol...there pretty cool tho i put them in my sons room. Havent had a chance to break open the game yet...we played sports resort and new super mario bros when we was gaming today....Cant wait to see what everyone else thinks about it tho

What's your complaint with the graphics and sound of SMG2? If the game gets the most out of the Wii's A/V capabilities, it should get a 10/10 there.

I played for about half hour to 45 minutes yesterday and u can chalk it up as anotha Super Mario instant classic. Cant wait to get back on it. I havnt got to Yoshi yet and I cant wait for that! Got Em!!

Cool nice to hear from someone who has played it...i have mine still in the wrapper...im almost at the end of new super mario bros...i just want to finish it out first...i know i will be stuck on mario galaxy 2 when i finally get to it..which will be this 5 day weekend i have coming up

Yea man I absolutely love it! I have played a bit more and have about 9 stars and playing with Yoshi is great! U need to hurry up and get on it man forreal!! U will be hooked as normal. Got Em!!

I borrowed Mario Galaxy 1 from a friend to finally try it out and I am not sure its for me... Its fun, looks good and I haven't put too much time into it but the controls are taking some getting use to, and I am not sure how much I like that the levels are spheres. I find its difficult to make small movements and find myself getting turned around all the time, I'm not sure if its that the round levels are disorienting or what.... Again I only played maybe 2 hours so far but those are my initial impressions.

Just picked up Galaxy 2 yesterday, haven't had much of a chance to play it yet.

I'll let you all know in a few days how I like it, so far it seems like the first one, which is awesome.

Man I just havnt had enough time to play it like I want to.

I left off at the beginning of World 2. The games is just as good as the first if not better but I want to see more worlds before I make that decision. Regardless its great nonetheless. Got Em!!
