Agreed, I feel like no matter where I tilt the Wiimote, no difference is made - Very frustrating.

i'm also playing this as well. i haven't played it in a couple of days actually. but the thing is, i agree it's a ***** cause it wears ya out, when you use your sword. it's not to bad if you are say cutting grass. but killing enemies wears ya out.

personally i dunno why "Nintendo' even got rid of the standard control that pretty much everyone here grew up on. actually i LOVE 'Twilight Princess" i think that one has the BEST Graphics. & it'd rather turn into a wolf than fly a bird to be honest. i felt like giving the bird well the bird when i was flying him.

the downside to "Twilight Princess" for me was when you are stuck as a wolf. killing enemies was also a ***** sometimes as well. also i HATE that damn water temple in "OOT" i can't get past the damn thing. i can get up to the boss but he keeps KILLING ME! i haven't tried to beat him in quite a awhile to be honest. anyways, as of the Wii Version for 'The Twilight Princess" i have no idea how that one plays. i only have that on my "Gamecube"

i don't really know which one is my favorite one to be honest. i also didn't realize this new one is the 16th game! anyways for me

i've only actually beat 2 of them. that's the 1st one, & the 3rd one. you know the titles i'm just to damn lazy to type them up. he he. anyways.

one more thing, you say it'll stay on "Nintendo" which i'm sure it will actually.
but i find it funny you say that cause i believe that they said the same thing about "Sonic" for years' "Genesis" did i mean. it's also kind of shocking they make those games for various platforms now. yet they haven't put out any new system for 'Genesis" since what 'The Dreamcast" does anyone know happen to know why?

Well, after 45-50 hours, I finally finished this last night. So, I thought I'd post some comments. Please don't read this until you've finished the game as it will contain massive spoilers. Also, hopefully my comments won't come off as overly harsh as I did very much enjoy the game, but there were some things I didn't like as well.

[Show spoiler]
Pros:
- The story was pretty good. I really like the relationship between Link and Zelda. The character arc for Groose and the Impa/Grannie reveal was pretty cool as well.
- I really liked the art style. Nice and vibrant in areas.
- This game has probably the best motion controls ever (see caveat in Cons)
- Some fantastic dungeons and boss battles (I loved the third dungeon in particular)
- The beetle/gust bellows/whip were cool new items that were fun to use.
- I liked the ability to upgrade items, but found collecting things to upgrades kinda tedious.
- I enjoyed the Silent Realm challenges. I don't think I would have wanted more that we got, but thought it was interesting.

Cons:
- There was too much hand holding by Fi. Fi herself wasn't a great character.
- I never felt like this with Twilight Princess, but man did reading all the text in this game feel tedious. I'm fine with keeping Link a silent protagonist, but I think it's time to move to voice acting for everyone else. In a year when we get games like Uncharted 3 and Arkham City providing extremely cinematic experiences, I think it would be awesome if I didn't have to hold down and then click A to scroll through row after row of text. This might be blasphemy, but all the text in the game felt antiquated and very 20th century.
- I wasn't a big fan of Girahim, although I liked his final form. He was definitely creepy and dislikable, but I wouldn't mind if we don't see him again.
- The recycling of areas and bosses got a little stale by the end of the game (3 fights with the Imprisoned!)
- As good as I though the motion controls were at times, I still think I would have had more fun playing this game with traditional controls. Also, there were parts where I really hated the motion controls (flying around the boss at the Thunderhead trying to spin attack tentacles is a prime example) and as much hand holding as the game does, there were times I thought it could have spent a little more teaching the player how to properly use the controls (flying, harp playing, tightrope walking).
- Having a screen pop up every time you collect a new Monster Claw or Bird Feather in a new session is annoying as hell.
- I really didn't like using the dowsing.

So, those are my thoughts on the game. Overall, I had a lot of fun with it and will always be up for the next Zelda adventure. It's kinda interesting how Twilight Princess was the first game I played through on the Wii and this is very likely to be the last. Makes for interesting bookends for the system.

nice to see that I wasn't the only one who hated the controls for the flying sections.
be nice if you could turn off the hand holding.
that and being able to skip text once you spoken to someone once

the hand holding isn't really a problem for me. for me it helps guys like me who aren't wizzes at games like a LOT of you people on here. but for those who don't need it they prolly could have put that as an option.

i got a bit farther than since i last was on here. i found all those kiwee's or whatever the hell they are called? & i got the slingshot as well. i just need to buy some potion, a net, & prolly another wallet or something. i'm still in the learning process of learning the controls actually. but i have gotten i think a LOT better than i was since i last posted on here.

It is with a heavy heart that I creep towards the end of this game.
I'd have hoped for more dungeons than what I got, but the ones I've gotten were great (particularly the volcano).
I let myself have hope after clearing the 6th dungeon that I was about to head out to 3 more, but that hope was dashed.

I think I'll probably leave this one just a notch below Ocarina. It was much with the wonderful, but nothing thus far has hit that pinnacle.

I'm in the first dungeon, just haven't put much time into it. I'm hoping it picks up the pace. I like it but I'm not loving it like I hoped I would.

I feel like the pace of the game changed a lot after the first dungeon.
Of course pace also is determined by how well you figure out puzzles. If they stump you, the game slows way down.

There is nothing quite as challenging as Ocarina Water Temple in the game though, so I breezed through all the puzzles.

Hero mode!!!! Awesome!

I do wish it were "master-quest" style where elements change, but still very cool to see this feature return.

Finished the first temple, which was really well done IMO. I enjoy the beetle much more than I expected to as well. Pretty tough boss for a first level boss. The Skeleton was fun as well. I did the area without a shield, not too bad.

I am now at the 2nd area unlocked and so far it is very nice looking.

I had taken some time off and forgot how to fly the damn bird properly. It isn't enjoyable right now. Maybe the calibration was off or the fact the battery was low was making it less responsive. I got a warning from the girl spirit that my battery was low once I got to the 2nd area with the flower bombs.

I also need to find a way to make the cursor more sensitive meaning from where I am sitting I don't want to have to point so far to the right to make the cursor go right all the way.

I've been playing about 30-60 minutes beyond the battery warning. It hasn't seemed to effect my progress. I use rechargeables and always keep a batch charged and ready, but find it's best to charge them down as much as possible before recharging.

Yeah, I don't know why that battery warning kept popping up so early. I ignored it for long stretches of time as well.

My best guess is that it was to avoid consumer complaints about controller effectiveness. If you warn about batteries long in advance, there can be no question as to whether the battery charge is at fault.
