Anybody planning on picking up this "Limited Edition" Super Mario All-Stars for the Wii?

I'm required by nature to buy this, so I've got my pre-order in. It's not the ideal 25th anniversary package, but $30 isn't too bad in my opinion even if this is double dipping on stuff I already have on the virtual console.

Some people simnply refuse to own any game that isn't on physicial media so for them this is perfect.

I don't think it's a retailer exclusive, so I presume Best Buy will have it. I couldn't find a pre-order on their site though. I know Gamestop has it for pre-order now as well as Amazon.

I will actually be in NYC when this is released I am gonna head over to nintendo world and hopefully snag a copy.

Nice! I've been waiting to see if this would hit the VC, but I like the idea of owning a physical disc for the game

Cool i will be getting a wii this week...i would like to have this game i havent played a mario one in a long time...its only like 30 bucks??

Yeah, it's $29.99 pre-order and includes:
Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros.- The Lost Levels
Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario Bros. 3
A soundtrack cd and some other swag

My understanding is that these are basically a port of the same release on SNES, but I could be wrong.
Also, if you're getting a Wii and interested in some old school style Mario, check out New Super Mario Bros. It is awesome.

With it being only 29.99 and limited edition...I might get it and just not open it and keep it for my collection...I already have the games downloaded on my wii.

Cool yea i seen the red color system...i ended up getting the black one that came with wii sports & wii sports resort. The red one looked cool tho & it comes with new super mario brothers!!!!! And doesnt it come with the new wii remote with motion plus built in?

It would be nice if the Gamecube controller is compatible with this game.

It better be able to use the Gamecube controller or it is going back! I'm sorry but using the wii remote sideways sucks and hurts your hands after awhile (too cramped and flimsy buttons)

Anyone know if Amazon is going to allow pre-orders again? It's not available for pre-order and I would rather have it through Amazon...

Me too! Can't cross to the US right now, and I wanted it via Amazon, but now it tells you have to get into a waiting list. Guess that is it as they are limited.

I waited to order it just as December begun to see if it they added more things and was worth it (as I am of those who believe they should had added SMW too (and maybe SM64)), but now...

Guess I will buy it here in México now for double the price or ask some friends if they can get it for me at GameStop, but I guess the same thing with amazon will happen.
