Lionsgate has changed all the titles to be matching (The Adventures of the Wilderness Family, Part 1-3) and the new titles are big shiny colorful graphics dropped in to cover up the original titles.

The Blu-rays are widescreen, though, which would be nice to see. I assume the films were shot open matte because the DVDs are 1.33:1 and have a lot of empty space at the top and bottom, and the boom mike or its shadow can easily be seen above heads from time to time.

I recently blind bought the region free Blu-ray of the Lolita remake from Amazon Germany with a couple of other 3D titles. It was part of a sale/promotion. Looking forward to checking it out.

I wouldn't say it's a remake, it's another adaptation of the novel. The director said he wasn't remaking Kubrick's film.

The 1997 version features a lot more darker material than what was allowed to be shown back in the 60's.

Just back from Walmart and $5 Blind buy. I know Paramount announcement coming to Blu-ray and I didn't see it yet (seen some part of it on TV) and going to see it on DVD first and if I like it... will get upgrade Blu-ray
