I've just started using the android My Movies / Blu-ray.com app but am finding it very 'flakey'.
When I go to My Collection (which has 178 BDs according to this site, including pre-orders etc) it starts off tellingme I have (say) 263 BDs, automatically starts to refresh then tells me I have 43, another refresh and it's 104 etc... actual number never seems to match at all. Anyone else experienced this? Is it a case of requiring a fast, strong connection or it times out and fails to download the full list? Are there any known conflict problems? Any help appreciated since at the moment I can't trust it to avoid accidental double dipping! These are the issues that I am having: I have 427 movies on the website and 376 on the app. When I scan movies in by bar code it will list them but it will not let me add them to the website. I have to manually enter them into the website. I actually have double dipped because the app displayed one thing and of course when I got home........Its already on my shelf
Overall apart from the issues listed above its a relatively painless way to keep track of your collection via your phone. |

For me it is a lot less reliable; one second I may have 300 (when I look at the detail there are suddenly a lot of duplicates not present on the website list) then after refresh it may say I only have 10 in my collection... this is even if I refresh when on a good Wi-Fi connection.
Just can't work out why it's so unreliable a connection |

Sounds like a sensible step; will do so this evening (when I have Wi-Fi and don't use up my bandwidth monthly allowance!) and report back. I know it must just be me as otherwise it wouldn't get the positive ratings that it does, but I just wish I knew why... Update seems to try downloading for about 4 seconds before deciding it has the whole list when it blatently doesn't!

Cleared all the data and started again; it took it a while (seems to keep updating long after it says it has stopped) and a couple of false starts where it duplicated a lot of titles again, but it seems to match up with the online now
![]() I'll have to keep an eye on it... and make sure I'm patient when it does a title update! |

I'm having the same problem. I'm using the android app and scanned a movie, but I do not see a way to add the movie to my collection. The app finds the movie but says,"this movie is not in your collection". Is there a way to add it to my collection? Any help/ideas appreciated./// Just discovered to add a movie to collection: Once the scan finds the movie, click on "mobile web site" on bottom of app screen. App then directs you to the mobile web site where you can then add movie to collection. This is not intuitive, but appears to be the only way to do it as the app cannot add movies to collection directly. Problem solved for now...

(UPDATE: I have a new smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S9+, and have not had the issue any longer)
I have been using this app successfully and happily for years now, and all of a sudden a couple of months or so ago it just refuses to complete any changes you make to your collections or to your preferences. It still allows you to go through the motions of doing so-- it's just that the changes don't 'stick'. I can still successfully make these changes on my desktop. What gives with the mobile device app, bluray.com? It's REALLY irritating! Last edited by seangodschild; 01-29-2019 at 02:02 PM. Reason: Update |

I've been using the app for awhile now, and do love that I can just pop on and see our library. However, the app allows you to add the "movies anywhere" (and ultraviolet, etc) links. However, I have yet to figure out how to add any movies under them. Does anyone have any clue as to how to do it?
