Address details, I cannot comment on. However, your card details aren't a problem. When they try to process the order before shipping, you will get an e-mail stating that the transaction failed. In that e-mail will be a link to where you can update the information for a new transaction in order to complete your order.

They sell a few steelbooks for really cheap today and tomorrow.
Best one: Naked Lunch - for 6 pounds only! (Also Hitchcock Collection w/ Dial M for Murder, North to Northwest, Strangers on a train - for 11 pounds - and at least I got even free tracked delivery on top of that) |

I'm far more concerned over the 'inaugural blank' by Universal than an 'epic burn'. Di$ney have been pulling this move of textle$$ steelbooks for some time now and clearly Univer$al are following that lead (except in the US naturally).
![]() How long before all the other majors follow suit on WWA Steelbooks because their accountants say it makes sense? I think we are one step away from all steelbooks bought in the UK, Germany, NZ, France, Australia, Italy, Scandinavia, Spain, and a host of other countries being 'text free' and difficult for us to file spine out. ![]() ![]() |

![]() ![]() If they want to do blank spines (a ludicrous, customer-unfriendly move, imo), then perhaps they could do decals of the title in various languages for the customer to affix. That would cost less than localised printing of the steel itself, and we wouldn't have the absurd situation of blank spines showing on our shelves. |

I ordered Tears of the Sun and The Purge steelbooks on the same day within the same order. The former arrived super fast, but now a week later, I still have not received The Purge. They were shipped out on the very same day, so I have no idea how this second one still hasn't arrived yet. I know things get sent in separate boxes, and I've ordered many times from Zavvi. I've never had this big of a gap with things arriving from them. Usually my orders arrive on the same day or a few days apart. Should I be concerned?

I've also had 3 steels shipped on the same day and they all arrived 2-3 days apart from one another... I just assumed they are held up at customs or something... never been charged, though. |

In the past, shipments from Zavvi have arrived between 2 and 4 weeks. Only one made it here in a week. I don't like the long transit time (I am spoile by Amazon Prime), but Zavvi's shipping price is extremely cheap so I cannot complain. ![]() |

In comparison to Non-Prime Amazon, Zavvi is superb. You either do not pay for shipping at all, then it takes a while, still some amazon orders took way longer than almost all of my zavvi orders and they charge tons of postage. For example I ordered Classic Monsters + Star Trek Original Series + Mulholland Drive from Amazon UK on 28.8. Guess what - I have only received Mulholland Drive - FINALLY - 1 day ago. The others haven't even been shipped yet. And they charged "only" 7 pounds for postage. And for Mulholland Drive they of course used a horrible delivery service, just as they always do. I was lucky, that the package was small enough to fit into my letter box otherwise I would have to call around b/c of this mess. Or you pay zavvi 2 pounds and get the items within 2 up to a max. of 4 days. Not only is that cheaper than Amazon, but it's also way way way faster and zavvi uses a proper courier in that case. Amazon almost always uses the cheapest delivery service there is, despite me paying tons of bucks on postage. For those zavvi express delivery packages, I get proper tracking. I even see where the delivery van is on the internet. It even tells me how many packages will have to be delivered before mine. Amazon UK's delivery goes: "hey, maybe your package will arrive today, between 9:00 and 16:00, good luck, we guess that you surely have no job, otherwise what we are doing wouldn't make sense". I could have ordered Star Trek TOS for the same price from zavvi and it would have already been here for 2 weeks. But it's nice that Amazon at least does an acceptable job with their often overpriced articles, when you pay them a monthly fee on top. What does this even? I pay them a monthly fee, so that they deliver my orders somewhat properly? You know what, there is a small movie internet store in my country. I order something today, It will get sent out next work day. With the best delivery service there is. with tracking. No postage for orders > 17 EUR. I almost always get those items the day after. AND THEY ARE WAY CHEAPER THAN AMAZON most of the time. A SMALL movie internet store. And they do packaging properly. Steelbooks in bubble foil. And not this "we will throw it into a mailer, who cares if it gets scratches". Amazon == rip-off. Last edited by jimidini; 09-16-2016 at 06:55 PM. |

Amazon Prime: I pay an annual fee and receive free shipping on all "Prime eligible" orders. Nearly 100% of my orders are release day delivery. If on the off chance an order arrives damaged or not correct, with an email it's resolved. I have access to all of Amazon's online content. In addition to a few other services. Now that's just all for only blu-rays. We have two kids 5 & 2 and did the diaper program with Amazon and saved a ton of money. Plus all the other oddball items we might order throughout the year. Christmas shopping? A total breeze!
In your opinion it might be a rip off. In my opinion it's one of the best deals going. I've ordered quite a bit from Zavvi, they aren't even in the same league as Amazon. Their CS is borderline nonexistent. The only reason I import from Zavvi is for their exclusives. Anything else I will gladly get on AmazonUK. |

I have Amazon Prime for the sole purpose of the fast shipping. Don't do gaming or streaming even though it's included.
I have Sams Club membership for diapers. I have the Walmart Shipping Pass for $50, which is 2 day shipping to your home. |
