While there is always some reason to wait, after UHD Blu-ray players have launched it'll be easy to tell whether or not the current 4K TVs are fully compatible with them.

Yes because 8k is on the horizon. SMH, I love cutting edge TV tech but when will it all finally level off? NTSC 480p was the standard for SO LONG. I'm ready for the industry to finally reach that point again of a sustained standard for many years.
