connecting LG Phoenix 2 to mac - Blu-ray Forum

I am trying to connect this phone to my macbook air and am having problems with the Android program. What it shows is that my screen is locked but on the phone it is not locked at all.

I am running yosimite if that makes a difference. Should I upgrade to sierra?
