Seems fine to me mate.

Checked out sword-fighting between 7-8 minute mark and all the clinks and clanks were on point.

Then I checked out some dialogue in the Highlands at the 13-14 minute mark and lip sync looked to be fine there too.

Although Human Traffic is listed as 4KDV there are Customer Review comments that the playback is more like HD - has anyone tried it recently?

Did not realise the lg Apple TV app does 4K and Dolby vision. To me it looks identical also. Only reason I bought the box was to watch 4K in Dolby vision. Any reason to have a 4K Apple TV box?

Apple TV content streams at a significantly higher bitrate on ATV hardware.

Plus no ads/tracking.

Also, local streaming of self-added content (admittedly not a priority for many people).

The smoothness and the overall interface is superior on the Apple TV compared to the other streaming boxes IMO. It’s worth the added cost to me, but of course everyone differs. Still, if you like special features it’s a must-have.

Can somebody confirm if an older pulp fiction listing (lionsgate) was uprated to 4k?

Watched it a couple of days ago and it is a nev scan of the 35mm negative, but it is an uneven presentation, because of the visual style but it si a lot better than the 1080p version of the movie as far as memory serves me

Seems like another title from Universal that may not get upgraded in the UK.
Not sure what the issue is with Universal tittles, after all this time we’re still waiting for E.T.

It’s incompetence at this point. They pretty much admitted as much in emails I had back and forth with them. They’ve stopped replying to me now.

Whoa, did not see that coming. Not Scorsese's best movie, but I always liked it.

Too bad the criminally neglected After Hours is with Warner; I don't expect a suprise upgrade from them ...
