Default Sony X900E 49 inch or Samsung QE49 49 inch

I like the Sony and it is about £200 cheaper too. Think the Sony is £999.

Anyone had any experience with these 2 tvs at all?

I am based in the UK.

Get the Sony X900E. I have the 55inch version and the PQ blows me away.

Yes it does look good, I know this tv doesn't have Dolby Vision as it doesn't haven't the X1 Extreme processor but I am not sure if its worth me getting a Sony with Dolby vision?

The Sony is on top of my list.

Just wait for the Sony X900F 49" to be released in a few months. It will probably be on sale for $1299.

Will be more then that in the UK , more like £2200. Other than having a new frame design, stand, and including the X1 Extreme processor, depending on price difference which remains to be seen as of yet.

Also that new stand design can be distracting.

Yeah... I agree with on the new 900 stand... it looks horrible. I wonder if it will be adjustable... meaning, can the legs be moved inward... because I can't use it due to a small counter space if they are so far apart. I wish they had just left well enough alone.
