are these G1 steelbooks too?

If these are mostly DVD with a lone BD thrown in, then I say it needs to move to the DVD SteelBook subforum

It's tough to tell from the mock-up, but it looks like they might be taller than G2.

I'm tempted but I'm also like do I really want to pay 159. But it also does come with the blu-ray of the first MMPR movie, but does this mean it's only exclusive to this set or will they too be releasing a stand-alone edition?

Shout says they currently have no plans to release a solo-edition of the movie.
And considering this set is a 120% mark-up over the MSRP for the previous DVD set, I imagine there's a good reason we're not going to get a individual release for the movie.

As much as I want the steelbooks and movie on Blu-Ray, I'm going to hold off until this goes on sale. No sense on double-dipping just for those.

I was just reading the page and spotted that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (Blu-ray).

Shame they did not redo the TV show in HD. That I loved as a child and would not mind a piece of my childhood history on blu-ray.

Anyone else hoping for a separate Blu stay release of JUST the movie. That would be so dope!

I def do not need this entire series when it’s available to stream, same w the movie but I just love the movie sooo much. So quotable! Ivan Ooze was so sassy!
