missing on my youtube as well. unlink and relink your MA, might refresh it, or watch it on another retailer.

Sometimes, if an older title you bought in SD is upgraded to HD, or HD is upgraded to 4K, that will alter the "your movies" order. But I agree there seems to be no actual, set reason for this, nor is there a way you as a customer can change it.

Didn't they just upgrade the movies from Google Play Movies to YouTube?
Honestly, I prefer the name YouTube Movies than Google "Play". If only Google would rename the Play Store to Google Store. |

Just an FYI, use the $5.99 credit on GooglePlay, not YouTube. Because I made the mistake of trying to use it on YouTube and it didn’t apply to my purchase. So I contacted support and they told me they don’t apply credits if the amount doesn’t cover the full cost of your purchase. They do, however, allow it on GooglePlay. So they had to refund my entire purchase on YouTube and I had to repurchase on GooglePlay. Kinda stupid!

Now that the Google Play Movies app has been removed from most TV's and streaming boxes, has everyone else lost access to 4k playback of their 4k Google Play upgrades? ?
Had a bunch of HD titles that got the 4k upgrade (CA Stuber for example). In Youtube they only play back as HD whereas "native 4k" titles play back in 4k. TIA |

Yes I have noticed that, no 4K playback or HDR10+ the migration to Youtube has been horrible and yet the Google play app is still working on my phone. Totally mind boggling move by google. Thankfully I have 90% of my digital collection on Itunes and will go 100% going forward as its much better than YouTube.

This might help someone: if you cast from your phone using the Google Tv app to a chromecast, it's much better than using Youtube. Even titles that only play stereo in Youtube, will play 5.1 on chromecast.
I've been able to enjoy all my movies stuck in Google using this method. |

I don't have a choice. The Google TV app barely functions for me and has been various sorts of broken for me for years, regardless of the device.
I hate watching on Youtube, but I went all in back when the Google Play M&TV app actually functioned for me, so now I'm stuck. |
