Non Disney GP movies porting to MA?

I’m confused, I thought only Disney movies redeemed in GP would port to MA, but I’m seeing a lot of posts lately for non Disney GP codes that say they’ll port to MA. Is this true? I can buy a GP code and as long as the title is supported in MA it’ll port over, and then in turn go into my iTunes which is my primary library?

As long as a movie is not MGM, Lionsgate, or Paramount (or one of their subsidiaries), if you have your GP account linked to MA it should port over to iTunes.

More specifically most movies from Disney, Warner Bros, Fox, Universal & Sony will port through Movies Anywhere. Movies from MGM, Lionsgate, Paramount and many smaller studios/distributors will not. There are also a small number of titles from the participating studios that do not port through MA.

bridge of spies didn't port for me and it was a canadian gp code. I unlinked and resynced my accounts but it didn't port. Also some Universal movies don't port over, it's a tricky thing especially if you buy from a site that tells you to redeem at the uphe website because it won't allow you to redeem a canadian code even if you use a vpn. I had to ask a friend of mine who works in canada to do it for me.

Canadian Mulan (2020) didn't port for me too.

Lots of Sony, Universal and WB movies port in MA (if Canadian). Most Canadian Fox ones don't (except Dreamworks). Any post-1985 MGM movie no matter who released it will not port (no matter the country).
