Default Films not played on YouTube

I have a few films I redeemed in Google Play through Movies Anywhere, that I'm able to see them in Google Play and Movies Anywhere, but on YouTube it says "This video is not available". I was wondering if anyone knows why and how to fix this?

That's weird. I have never seen this happen. ARe you in different countries? Different profiles? Accounts?

Check your shared library and you can also ask a google support person

I'm not from the US. It happens only on certain titles, not all of them.

All my Harry Potters show as playable on Youtube. They ported to GP via MA.

I had something similar with Kong Skull Island. GP showed I owned it and could play it. Youtube showed as I didn't own it.It now shows playable in Youtube. Not sure what I did to fix it, but recently I moved my retailers from my first MA to my second MA account. That may have updated something that pushed my Kong to be recognized as owned on Youtube.

You could try disconnecting GP from your MA and then reconnecting.

It still doesn't work and now it's happening to other films like Hunger Games and Disney films. Some of them I got through the redeem website and not through Movies Anywhere.

I have the movie on YouTube, it just has the error and it's only the first one, the others are fine for now.

Okay this is weird. To make it more comfortable I put the movies in different lists: Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Disney films, etc... So the ones that don't work are the ones I put in the lists, but if I go to "Purchase" I can see them just fine. This is the weirdest thing, but I guess maybe they updated the link or something and that's why it's like that, but that's just uncomfortable because I like to organize the films.
Anyway seems like there wasn't a problem after all.

It's possible if your YouTube "country" was listed different from Google it didn't work.

I am actually talking to Play Movies reps today about an interesting glitch I managed to find and they're working with me to solve it before others find it.

They're pretty great.

I usually like Google and they're products, I even have Pixel 3. However, they recently announced that soon they'll stop Play Music and told everyone to move to YouTube Music, which is fine as long as I can listen to my uploaded music for free, in the background and without ads. However it seems that in order for it to work in Android Auto you need to upgrade your account to premium which is not acceptable in my opinion and it is an obvious attempt at making people to pay for premium. I might actually do it since it does seem more comfortable and unlike Spotify the account is also premium at YouTube so you get both at just a bit higher price so it seems like it's worth it, but I'm still considering since I usually listen to my music.

Use a vpn and connect to India and sign up for YouTube Premium. I pay $2.50 a month for the family plan.

You won't regret it

We have YouTube Music in my country so I don't need a VPN. But I am considering it.
Thanks for the recommendation.

I think they're updating this for you, I saw news about it. But I use a vpn to pay for it thru India, it is cheap.

Still, YouTube Premium overall is worth full price. No ads and supports your subscriptions

Weird. No issues here. Best thing is always purchase through Google Play store - if you want to use the Family Library you must do that, YouTube won't apply. Plus the Play Store is easy to refund through. (Anything from Play Movies works on YouTube)
