Well said ^^ and I agree with your comments.

Sony's X95J is expected to be 50% brighter than the X90J and have better blacks and significantly better off axis picture quality and very nicely improved high ambient light and anti-glare performance.

With all this said Sony's X90J is an excellent TV choice and is very fairly priced.

Sony included our company in the first X95J allocation that is scheduled for the week of August 9th.

I accidentally posted on the X90J thread. What I’m trying to figure out is if the X95J is the replacement for the 950H and if it is, what are the improvements over it?

Mostly the addition of HDMI 2.1 features and the new XR processor.

I got tired of waiting on Sony to release the 65inch X95J. So I went with the X90J which doesn't get the best reviews online. I am not expert but this TV blows my 950G out of the water when it comes to HDR and Dolby Vision content. Black is black and I don't see any blooming at all. I have only had it for a day so far but watching Passengers and Prometheus in 4K was just beautiful with this TV. Don't understand why it gets so much hate. PS5 gaming also looks great on X90J. So if anyone is done holding out don't pass up on the bad reviews of the X90J. The colors are vibrant and not washed out like many reviewers have said.

Starting at 2:30pm ET on Youtube channel Whisper Status 74 the channel owner, Brian will start his live webcast of his interview with me about the X95J.

Brian and our staff set-up one of our 75" X95J TVs and we watched various content for about 45 minutes before starting the video interview.

Where to begin with this TV. I did not have time to go through a full setup and make any adjustments. I placed the TV in Cinema mode and watched Coca on Disney + with my son last night as a quick test.

TV has Vivid, Cinema, Game, and IMAX Enhanced Modes

For streaming I have to say this is the best I have ever seen a picture. I did not have to for the first time ever on a LED TV turn of the motion enhanced options. I did not get the motion blur effects I previously saw on other Sony TV's the A9F and the X900H. The picture popped on the screen, the blacks were dark and showed no signs of any backlight behind them. The whites were bright and clear, no blue tint or any type of darkness in the images. The other colors on the picture felt almost 3D like, it really was just a beautiful picture.

The Audio options are nice. During setup the TV wants to calibrate whether you have it wall mounted or fixed on top of a table. For TV speakers they were hardly noticeable. Right out of the Box it was surprisingly impressive.

I will test angled viewing as well as images from my LX-500 and gaming from PS5 a tad bit later, at some point when I calibrate I will give a full on review of this TV.

I got mine yesterday as well. Sadly I couldn’t wall Mount it because of the awkward layout in my room right next to a window. It worked with my 65 on a single stud mount but I couldn’t with this one. It is huge!! I hauled it up the stairs and mounted it myself, twice with two different mounts, but no luck. I put it on my stand this morning. I am sore and exhausted. There’s an overwhelming amount of settings and features on this thing! The first UHD I popped in was Demons and it looked amazing!

I have a wallmount you can try if you can find it. the wallmount actually moves left to right when mounted for centering or placement where you want. Its the one I bought with my X95J retails for like $299 but it is heavy duty and will definitely support the weight. It is a Sanus CILF226-B1

EDIT: Do not put your 75" on that mount you have I highly doubt it will support the weight of the TV.

Both of the wall mounts work for the tv. One is 110 pounds rated and one holds 134. The problem is that they didn’t slide enough to one side to center the tv properly. It looked off. The one had the arm a bit too long and the other too short. I didn’t photograph the tv when mounted just because I was a bit frustrated and forgot to. Thanks for the suggestion, I will look it up and see if it could work.

Setup PS5 today using EARC HDMI3 and a Cinnamon 48 cable. Turned on HDR10, and switched HDMI to Full and game mode popped in FFVII Intergrade... MY GOD the detail the lighting this is the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen. Totally blows away my X900H by miles. So far this TV is all I could have hoped for.

So glad I kept my X90J as the side by side comparison the X90J is just as good if not better. Definitely not worth the price increase from the X90J to the X95J. I got my X90J 65inch on sale at Best Buy for 1,299 member price. When I looked at both TVs in person side by side. I hated that coating they used on the X95J you can see it in person and it takes away from the TV overall picture in my opinion.
