Yes, the new one is not as bright as the Super Nova 930e, but we are ok with that.

Check out this excellent open boxing and 1st impressions video of Sony's 100" X92 2021 4K HDR TV.

The 65 inch version Sony X90J is $1199 on Amazon and Best Buy at the moment, for anyone looking at that size.

They'll discount my 55 inch version, any day now, any day now... (50 inch version I've given up hope on)

Robert, I like living vicariously through these big TV unboxings.

Didn't sci-fi movies predict this? The TVs that take up a whole wall.

I remember getting the 65-inch X900H for $969 last Black Friday. I wonder if they'll discount the X90J that much this year.

All authorized Sony dealers should now be at $1,199 for the 65" X90J. We follow Sony's Promotional Road Map.

The 50" X90J is now $999, 55" $1,099, 75" $1,799 and 85" X91 is $2,799.

According to Sony, the X900H can only do HDMI signal formats.. 3840x2160 @ 24, 30, 60 hz.

The X90J lists 120 hz by Sony’s official website, but not the X900H.

Thinking of calling (Have a 2-year BB extended warranty) to see if they can replace mine for the X90J....

Bad Pixels is covered..

Sony haven't gimped the 50" in any way as far as I know, so it shouldn't be thought of as inferior to the larger models.

Just ordered the 75" X90J for delivery next week. I really wanted an OLED but the mrs. declined to go another $1400 for the 77" OLED. We just moved and this was the best compromise on budget vs. quality vs. screen size. I sold my projector and 110" screen with the old house- so everything is basically a let-down size wise. Looking forward to having it delivered.

For anyone who missed out on the Walmart deal, Amazon has the 50 inch version for $898.00 and when I was logged into my account and viewing the product page there was a 10% off discount for using an Amazon Prime credit card (I don't have that card, nor Amazon Prime, so that extra 10% discount part might be YMMV - I do have the Amazon Rewards Visa though so it might just be some kind of card/prime upgrade offer)

Limited time deal.

Best Buy delivered my X90J 75" model late yesterday afternoon. Had it unboxed and on the wall within about 15 minutes. Out of the box, picture was pretty good. It connected to my network without any issues. No sound issues with Dolby Atmos rolling through eARC to my Pioneer SC-95. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. I opted for an extended mount to move it 18" closer to the seating area- which helps it seem bigger. Had trouble finding a couple of apps via search, so I may use my Roku Ultra on there just to avoid the hassle. Best Buy had it when I ordered for $1599.99 and it was Black Friday price guaranteed- so I feel pretty good about the price. Looking forward to watching Suicide Squad later this week in Dolby Vision.

Anyone have any issues with the light on the front blinking red four times? I only recently purchased this TV 2-3 weeks ago, and when I went to turn it on last night it would turn on for a second and then immediately turn off with the light on the front blinking red four times. I was able to restart it to factory settings this morning, but again when I tried to watch a movie this morning (On a Panansonic UB820) it shut down immediately with the same blinking red lights. I'm assuming I bought a defective unit, but has anyone else experienced this or know of a fix? Could it be a compatibility issue with the UB802?

Red lights blinking at the front are error codes. No, I don't know what four blinks specifically mean. Get on to your retailer pronto.

Yeah, TV is done. It lasted a whole three weeks. Sony will be sending a replacement, but it will probably take a week or two minimum. Not a great entry into the 4K world that’s for sure.
