Will do. Feel free to toss out any suggestions as to formatting before I get too far. I am contemplating removing the 'full image link' because a lot don't have it and those that do have it will have it within the post that is also linked.

I am open to suggestions and help if anyone is interested. Especially if someone wants to just double check and make sure I didn't miss anything major

Just replace the URL's, user name and post count number with all the proper information. Copy and paste your work into a post, highlight it all and then click the '<>' symbol at the top of the advanced editing to wrap it all in HTML tags. This will allow easy copy and pasting and stop the forum from converting your code into links and formatting options.

I'm not exactly sure what's going on right now. I've been away from the issue at hand for a while. Have we made a fix for the thread organizing yet? With Trean being the new OP what has been done?

Here's an example of somebody not reading through the thread before they post. Please read the last couple of pages of this thread.

WOW, I haven't looked at the beginning of this thread in a long time, my how I've grown and everyone else!! Those covers were my very first ones from a year ago (see it doesn't take long to master covers if your new at it). I cringed when I saw some of my early stuff!

We didn't even have IMANDIX to display our covers back then, just the front and spine. And we had to paste pieces of our cover artwork onto that front view cover and skew the front and spine to match the semi 3D look. (That's the same covers template we used over and over). I miss CCplant - man he was an awesome artist!!

That's gonna take some work to list all those, he's on page 15 of 130... Brave soul!!

Need a moderator solution:

I knew I would run into this problem sooner or later

. I need more posts at the top of the thread. There is a max character limit on each post, I am 30 pages into the thread and am over 1000 characters over the 1 post limit.

I see two solutions.

The first is that the moderators can some how create new posts at the top of this thread for me to put the list overflow into; or cannibalize more of the posts at the beginning of the thread to put the list into. Either way, the first solution is to some how get more posts for me to write in at the top of this thread.

The second is that once I finish the list I will create a new thread, it will be one that can be stickied. It will contain many posts, all by me; several blank for future expansion. Then the thread can be locked. It will basically be a master list, a compendium but new posts would still continue to go into this really really long thread

I created a solution of sorts an am just posting my updates to what is at the time the end of this thread and then just posting links to the individual parts of the list within the first post of this thread. Not as elegant of a solution as I would like but it will do for now.

I agree with the second, easier for you to control, and its only a list of covers, not discussions or comments, they can come here for that.

As I look back I notice many of the covers we did when we started the original thread weren't so much as "custom" covers, but what we wanted to see on blu during the format war. It was just to see what they looked like on a blu case (many being on HD-DVD). Now that the war is over, many of the covers have really turned custom and unique. Specially when I look at my Aliens or American Werewolf at the beginning and then what I actually made to print. Ahhhh... how we grow.

I'd like to find a 13 Ghosts Blu Ray case art to fit a U.S. Blu Ray Case. Can anyone help me out? See I recently bought this https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies.php?id=1376 U.K. version but I know it will arrive in a larger case. I wan't to transfer it to a smaller U.S. Blu Ray Case and get a custom case art cover for it.

My question Trean is...

Upon going to some of the posts you listed, many are just images and do not contain links. What I'm guessing is that the creator would have to be PM if someone wanted the cover.

Should those who have covers that have not been posted with links to the full versions make a new reply in this thread with them all attached so you can link them? (If so, wouldn't this create a mass dump of covers in here?)

Also, I have a couple of basic covers that I Have on my posting site, but I also have my Academy Award Best Picture Collection Covers (81 DVD, with any that can be converted to Blu if someone wanted me to, and 5 Blu). Would you Post mine as 'Academy Award Best Picture Winners' if I created a post for them?

You are totally correct on all this, two threads merged. I started in the original thread "Best Fake Blu-ray Covers" in the Technology forum section and then started posting in both when I saw this one. I can speak for myself that many of the early posts I made, in the early pages, never became a full cover so there would be nothing to link to, back then it was all for fun, wasn't until later we started making the full size covers on here. (you'll see that when we start posting 3D images of front and back). So I hate for you to do so much work when so many covers that were at the beginning aren't really "usable" or dont even exist in full (front to back) size. Hope Im not throwing a wrench in anything.

On another note:

I am happy to see many downloads of my kill bill cover already:

Can anyone who has downloaded and printed this cover please let me know if you had any problems with the how it printed. I went to print mine today, and found that the image I used for the Sword on the spine printed with a lite faded white box around it because it had a different color profile than the picture in the background (RGB vs CMYK).

If you have noticed this, let me know, I will update the file with the one I fixed for my print.

Upon going to some of the posts you listed, many are just images and do not contain links. What I'm guessing is that the creator would have to be PM if someone wanted the cover. Should those who have covers that have not been posted with links to the full versions make a new reply in this thread with them all attached so you can link them? (If so, wouldn't this create a mass dump of covers in here?) Also, I have a couple of basic covers that I Have on my posting site, but I also have my Academy Award Best Picture Collection Covers (81 DVD, with any that can be converted to Blu if someone wanted me to, and 5 Blu). Would you Post mine as 'Academy Award Best Picture Winners' if I created a post for them?
