The D&D one is completely distorted. The Alien one has really jagged edges around the monster and the black does not blend at all with the title. The Star Wars one has the image cropped too far down. It looks very unbalanced with the positioning.
Lets see you do a better one, u always seem to be on a negative standpoint, not everyone is a photoshop expert, i think some of them are ok, but unless u have some on here, dont knock them for trying

WoW, come on dude. If your going to call someone out for doing a poor job you have to atleast back it up to show you can do better. These people are not bragging about their work, their doing it for fun. So show the people you mad fun of how it is sopposed to look.

These were kind of done in haste, but I do have to do some work while I'm at work

I swear the "contact" theme is coincidental. Those are 2 of my favorite movies.
I know Contact is WB, so maybe someday.
First Contact is of course Paramount, but maybe they'll wise up soon.

this is a thread to determine to "best" fake blu-ray cases implying that there will be relatively bad ones. some look better than others but let's try to keep the criticism constructive instead of labeling it "bad".

for instance, Spider's "Contact" case looks more believable than Eulogy's "Dumb and Dumber" case.

I seriously SUCK at doing anything in Photoshop, but here's one I really want to see.

I wish I had half the talent at making fake images as some of you have here. I'm looking at you ruvic, and Spider1981

Here's one anyway. I still suck at making these, though.

Okay, the follwing is a tribute to my dorky love for cartoons from my childhood. I hope you don't mind, Moonraker... I used your Alien box cover image to make this one as I raelly didn't have any good files with Blu-Ray case images on my computer already.

I happen to know almost for a fact that the following release will likely never happen on Blu-Ray at all, and that even if it did, being that it's an old cartoon movie and all, it wouldn't have much to gain from the quality of Blu-Ray, but with me being a big fan and all, I would still buy it if it did come out...

I am excited, however, that the newer version of He-Man which ran on cartoon network from 2002 to 2004 is going to eventually make it's way on to Blu-Ray from what I've heard. So, that should be cool when that eventually happens. I will definately pick it up.

Sigh!

Alright. Here's the last one for you. Why do I do these things?

Oh, right. Boredom.

Anyway... enjoy!
