Anybody know what I could use to print a 25mm 6 disc case cover? I usually use UnderCoverXP but it only has standard blu size. Thanks.

Does anyone know the dimensions for a 5-disc cover (based on the size of the original "Blade Runner" case).

Thanks.

This is the same problem I have, undercoverxp won't print this size and I wanted to print a Planet of The Apes cover.

I want to print Custom Criterion covers, and got the measurements needed for a custom profile in Undercover XP.

However, the preview is always distorted, or not scaled to the size and all.

Any solution, or a better program to print them on?

I'd actually recommend using legal paper, instead of letter; most printers at FedEx or Kinko's won't do borderless printing. Also, JPEGs can be very tricky, depending on what software the store is using. Mine kept being auto-resized, so I switched to PDFs.

I'm not familiar with the case used for that, but the 5-disc Vortex gets pretty close. Its 3300 x 1760 pixels (11" x 5 & 7/8").

This thread doesn't see much action but thought I'd ask. For printing at home, what is the best paper to use? Would brochure paper work? I've seen it, but it's 48lb, so I don't know. It is the same as premium photo paper by the sounds of it. Any suggestions?

I use HP Brochure Paper. They turn out very nice. Its a hair bit thicker than original cover art but I think that is an advantage.

Not happy at all, I spent money to get these covers and all I am having is problems printing these. I put in the measurements and proceed to print it says its too large and clipping will happen. tried other ways and it just comes out wrong.

Because covers are different sizes, and because different printers have different capabilities, your printer may not be able to print as close to the edge as others. If you are printing a larger cover, then the same problem may exist.

My advise would be to get some legal paper and print using that. Change your printing settings to legal, and it should have no problem with fit.

I hope that helps.

Turning a JPG into a PDF will not retain the JPG quality without more settings. You would need Adobe Acrobat Pro for that.

If you are using UndercoverXP or have Photoshop, a JPG will not try to re-size, it is Windows program that does that.

What do you use to print?

I do have an older adobe photoshop and just dl
UnderCoverXP but thinking since this will use a lot of ink I might try Kinkos.

bpmford, thank you so much.

I'm considering going to a Kinkos too. I've printed on my printer without a problem before but recently I've been having a bunch of trouble with the sizing. Ink costs way too much to keep trying to get it right.

I tried to go to a Kinkos but they told me what I wanted to print was copyright infringement. This sucks, I have some custom Bond covers I want to print, but for whatever reason my printer always prints them too small.

Do you have these on file? If so, print them out yourself at one of the work stations. It is total BS for them to not print these out. Granted it has been a while since I've had to use them, but I use to take magazines, artwork, etc in to get copies of when I was in art school. Try a different location if possible. I've had to do this when dealing with some of the office supply stores.
