Had no idea who this guy was, but I read the link and he's behind Northridge. 3 generations of my systems have been Northridge and now I'm on Studio L and Performance. Wow.

Nice. They remind me of the SVA-1800.

Default L300 Optimization

For those interested, Nelson Pass optimizes a vintage pair of L300 Summits.

There aren't many JBL users in this forum and I have no experience with the E & L series speakers. It looks to me like it will match with the E series but I would ask the guys at AVS through the below link.

Guess I'll have to do my part because I'm loving mine, although I need to update my signature with changes I've made over the last year.

Sadly I do believe that Harmon is killing the JBLs in a big way. I only know one person that uses the better JBL line, with the piston driver's, and to me they sound remarkable. I have a pair of the cheap ES-80 tower series and the build quality of these is truly pathetic. The wave guide along with the price is the only reason that I purchased them. They do produce great high's with a wide dispersion, but completely lack in the low end. Thank's rpatt for the link provided .

Hey, need a slight upgrade for your HT sound system? How about these JBL Pro Cinema 4732 3-way screen speakers? Only $1000 (Ebay), and that is a steal. Ceiling height could be a problem.

It's not perfect, it's lacking some dynamic range especially when the volume is down. The atmos in the height channels is there but is hard to pin point where, sometimes this can be a good thing. But for like half the price of Samsungs top soundbar, it probably has the best subwoofer of any soundbar on the market. The Atmos bubble that this package creates at times is outstanding. Just remember it likes to be played loud, quiet not so much. Play Mad Max Fury Road 4K Disc volume 18 bass 3 and try not to smile.(Try if you can having the sub woofer centered behind your couch, just make everything sound next level.)
