Living in earthquake country, I'll have to convince the wife the added benefit of supporting 3-D is supporting the ceiling... And I stopped counting cause I continue buying. Guess I can check the spreadsheet if I need to. Not all are 3D titles though. Many have their 2-D English releases next to it (for muxing) or a movie series may include one of its' 2-D brethren. But the 3-D collections of guys like the13thman and deltatauhobbit puts us all to shame.

If you don't mind the overt jingoism, Spacewalker and Salyut-7 were good Russian movies. 3D was generally mild though.

Impressive, very impressive.

Great collection of 3D's. They seem to be so hard to find over here in Aus. now. Having to resort to buying overseas versions.

Funny you mention having to buy overseas... If you check the pics closely, you'll see the following movies I had to waltz my mathilda down under to get:

--all the Random Space Media exclusives
--Boogie
--Minuscule
--Spider-Man into the Spiderverse

--Cirque Du Soleil Worlds Away
--Guillotines
--Hara-Kiri
--Saw 3D
--Shark Night
--Spider-man No Way Home
--StreetDance2
--Tai Chi 0 & Hero
--TT Closer to the Edge

and the following 2D Blu-ray titles:

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century*
Children of Dune
Gallipoli*
To Hell and Back*

Ok, I understand why I had to go to AU to get Gallipoli, but why you can't get Buck Rogers or To Hell and Back in the states? Go figure.

*looks like you can buy them in the US now

everything except the bottom 2 shelves are 3D (not Slap Shot obviously), top 2 shelves are unseen movies, yeah my backlog is pretty huge... kind of a mess right now as I'm not done at all, speakers mostly and more guitar hooks, but it's getting there.

A real man cave. In the immortal words of Darth Vader, "Most impressive!"

Guitars. Rush? Is the j-rk-off station off camera? Later on the menjay!

Hi cabanon,

Great room. Love the guitars.

Noticed the two monitors. If both are 3D and hooked up to the same player, does that mean you can see things in 6D?

haha they're not the same anymore. the left is my old 2012 Panasonic which still works wonderfully. I have a spare one that was on the right before and yes I could hook 'em up together but the results was annoying as the IR transmitter constantly changed the glasses screen and it caused some issues if you shifted your view to the other TV. On the right is a LG QNED85 4K TV to pair with our ps5.

My update of yearns:

1) Darkest Hour - most yearning
2) Book of Life
3) The Prodigies
4) Zootopia
5) Due West (the more I watch the trailer, the more the yearn )
6) 47 Ronin
7) Mortal Engines
8) Pan
9) Tarzan (live action) - least yearning

Managed to snag few 3D Blu-ray movies recently, new and used for my collection. Unfortunately I don't have a 3D capable TV at the moment, only a 3D capable player.

Alita: Battle Angel
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Man of Steel
World War Z
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Star Trek Beyond
Guardians of the Galaxy

I did something similar years ago when I still picked up a few 3D movies even though I had nothing to play them on. From the list below I definitely remember buying Winter Soldier, Fury Road and maybe Pacific Rim and Hugo when I had no 3D equipment. By the time I stopped collecting I had a small but decent collection.

Avatar/Titanic (No idea or care where Titanic disc is)
Avengers
Winter Soldier
Fury Road.
Amazing Spiderman 2
Edge of Tomorrow
Flying Swords of Dragons Gate
Finding Nemo
Hugo
Pacific Rim
Resident Evil Afterlife

Thumbs up Chipping away on the list / fleshing out the collection

It's been a dizzying few weeks. Between a shopping trip while overseas, lucky breaks on online sites, and the tremendous help of family and friends (old and new), a big dent was made into my wishlist. In particular are some of the titles on the bottom row:

A few are new country editions for movies I already had, but are region free editions, or were just real cheap. Some are kind of obscure but I've entered/updated the respective blu-ray.com listings to the best of my knowledge-- feel free to edit if you have better info. I've watched many of them and will answer what questions I can.

Of course you quickly picked out the anomaly. That's the first movie (Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame HK) and it's in 2-D. Sorry, I should have left that one out. (Probably should have left out the anaglyph ones too...)

Both Detective Dee's were obtained by a friend on the mainland. $$ but worth it.

My very first Dee movie and arguably the best one. If there was a 3D version I think I would willing pay MCU JP money for it. If the 3D is even close to being as good as the two other Dee movies then I would likely pay more.

Congrats on your finds! I know you've been looking for Mr. Go and Detective Dee for a while. Glad that your persistence finally paid off!
What are the two to the left of Mr. Go? How are their 3D quality? Are there any in the whole set that you were especially impressed by? Thanks!
