I've always incorporated my 3D titles with the rest of my Blu-rays, which are sorted alphabetically. I have been considering separating out the 3D title, though, or at least keeping a list on my shelf of 3D titles.

Alphabetically all the way. 3D gets no special treatment

I just put them with the rest of my collection which is #- Z (with sequels/trilogies all together) All the 3D movies I have are the 4 disc 3D/BD/DVD/DC anyways so it doesn't really matter. Only movies I have separated are HD-DVD's, Digibooks, Steelbooks/Tins, and Terminator Skull sets.

Thanks for all the replies, I think I will just keep the 3Ds sorted separately from normal blu's. My collection isn't big enough to warrant a more 'thorough' sorting!
Yeah, but wait til your 3D collection grows, then you'll have to wonder... to ABC it or Genre it. Damn decisions, decisions...

I've got my 3Ds in one section and sorted by ABCs, but then when I look at the over all library, it makes me want to sort them buy genre. Oh well... life can be a pain in the ass sometimes...

3D's deserve special treatment.......how could you...... Anyways i sort my 3D'S separately because i don't not want to have to fish through over 400 blu-rays to find my 3D'S.

I don't have many 3D BDs yet, but I think I'm going to keep them mixed with regular BDs, mainly because some of them are part of a series and it'd kill me to keep some separated and some mixed >_>

Also don't have a 3DTV yet, my plan is to get one on Black Friday this year.

I have them in a different row, but they aren't in any particular order. I don't have any of my movies sorted in any particular way. I still know where everything is, irregardless of the oddness of cataloging. I'm weird like that.

I only have a few sections which are:

3D Movies
Michael Fassbender Films
Recently Bought
Television Shows
Special Editions

Everything else is stacked together in whatever way I feel like.

That remindes me... I need to update my sorting this weekend... looked for a movie last night and took me forever (felt like) to find it. When that happens, it's time to upate the sorting...

Over 700 blus, including 3Ds. I haven't counted the DVDs, which I do not plan to sort them. They are packed away in boxes...

After reading this thread, I arranged all my 3D Blu Rays together and it looked really good The uniformity of my Disney 3Ds was just plain sexy.

lol i have the exact same disney 3d blus (well, except toy story)....and also have them sorted by studio, it looks the best but will probably have to switch up down the line when they start taking up more space.

I keep all of mine alphabetical, 2D and 3D together. Sets are broken out, unless they are smaller sets that can still play well with normal blu's (i.e., Die Hard Collection and Rocky Collection). The sets are still alphabetical, just on a different shelf. My DVD's and HD-DVDs are kept separate as well.

Looks awesome. I like how you have them labeled by gener as well. Love those Watchmen statues!

If you click on my Home Theater Gallery link, my 3D blu collection is present.

My 3D blus are in the little, metal tower to the right of Alfred (my butler, lol) and the ladder bookcase
