Same here.. not sure why alot of people did not like this movie. It was really good and the FX were astounding.

Althought the constantly screaming little girl did get annoying.

He doesn't have any say.

These people do..

DreamWorks SKG Studio
Paramount Pictures Studio - Domestic Theatrical Distributor

Those are the two studios responsible for it's release. Both are Blu if I am correct.

It really dropped the ball during the Tim Robbins sections. Very very slow pacing that took the movie to a crawl. A lot of people also hated the "White Picket Fences" ending. I do hope Spielberg goes back and re-edits the movie.

White picket fences ending? The one where everyone survives and runs to each others arms?

Yes, he does. Just like he controls when his Universal stuff comes out even though he doesn't work there. They don't want to piss him off.

Remember that even though he sold it, the S in SKG stands for Spielberg

Actually Spielberg has a lot of say on which of his movies come out... And he is still the owner of DreamWorks. The only thing that changed is distribution rights. Before Universal owned them and now they switched to Paramount.

No, they sold the company.

http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/...ory?id=1399296

Then Paramount sold the film library to George Soros, under the condition that Paramount keeps domestic distribution

I don't think you understand, Spielberg is still with DreamWorks. It's just they're not an independent company anymore.

Right, and they sold the company, and no longer own the films like they used to. I never said he left the company, just that he sold it
