Default Middle Earth: From Script to Screen - Building the World of The LOTR & The Hobbit

This fantastic book release is about the behind the scenes production of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit Trilogies. I have seen a copy of this book in person while looking at my local bookstore in Dublin for a few weeks now. The book is enormous & it contains all of the information that you will ever need about the production process from all of these great movies. I think that is a must have for people who are big fans of them. It is really expensive though; my local bookstore in Dublin had it for 65. I thought yikes. That is a lot of money to give into it.

The front & back cover of this release looks absolutely beautiful. It is a hardcover; it has a total of 512 pages & over 5 lbs in weight.

What do you think of it? Would you consider turning in your hard earned cash for this magnificent read?

Out there...past them trees...

Nice. I like that it's hardbound with color photos and it has one of those bookmark thingies. Quality alone makes it pricey. Does it cover the writing process as well as the production? I might want to pick this up eventually, but I'll be more enticed if it has insight on script writing.

I love books like these. I have 3 massive star wars for each of the original movies.
