Frame doesn't fit poster

I bought a Phantasm 2 poster from phantasm.com and I bought a 27 x 40 frame at Michaels. The damned thing does not fit and is an inch or so longer. seriously, what gives?

If what you purchased was an original Phantasm 2 movie poster that film came out when movie posters were still 27x41 inches in size, which forces people to go the custom frame route. Movie posters in the early 90's switched to 27x40.

Interesting to note! I wish that they would have noted that on the listing as it stated 27 x 40 but thanks for the heads up!

I am unsure if what you purchased was in fact an original or a reprint they offered in the 27x41 size, you may want to inquire with them and ask them if it was an authentic movie poster or a reprint and see what they say.
