Berserk Manga: Old and New

So the new Hardcover editions for the Manga series is getting listed on the Amazon sites with an anticipated release date of 12 March 2019.
It looks like each volume will contain 3 volumes of the PB so, with I believe a total run of the PBs coming up to 30 volumes, I guess that will mean 10 Hardcovers, published by Dark Horse Manga, in English.

Each HC will initially cost;
- $33usd @ Amazon.com
- $54Cdn @Amazon.ca
- 34GBP @Amazon.uk

There's actually 39 volumes (so 13 hardcovers)

Each volume has a $50(USD) MSRP

They're printed in 7x10" and will be leather bound hardcovers.

I'm giddy at the thought of 13 HCs of Berserk!
So thankful they are spreading out the releases though!
I have a bookcase set-up for these (in addition to other anime and Film Fantasy books).
So far I have the GitS HC omnibus and the Star Wars spec ed HC book(s) set on it.

Also looking at a few other anime related (HC) books to purchase, such as the "who's who in the zoo" for;
- Black Butler
- SBY, and
- possibly LotGH



edit: Sigh, just received an email from Amz.ca today (05 Apr). Delivery delayed until May 5-30th, sigh.

Just a heads up;
It looks like Kentaro Miura has released a Vol 40 to the Berserk series, due for release (in Canada, perhaps sooner elsewhere) for 8 Oct '19.

I haven't ordered Vol 2 of the HC's yet, will do so soon I suspect as it's out July '19.

STILL awaiting delivery of Vol 1, latest from Amz.ca says delivery scheduled for 1-31 May (helluva large window!)

Price = $27usd

They also have the "Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust" OST on vinyl for - $30usd.

I purchased the Berserk vinyl and upon receipt, may order the Vamp D, depending on shipping time, packaging, condition on arrival, etc...

Yes, already with Chapters 39-41 (in Japan) that means at least 14 hardcovers. I finally bought the first yesterday. I hesitated with such a long unfinished series but I need this!!!

Just wanted to mention that I indeed received my Vol-1 a couple of days ago.
It arrived (from Amz.ca) in a good box and pristine condition. Nice to see it was shrink-wrapped, I've bought many books off Amazon that were not.

I expect I'll put in my order for Vol-2 in a day or two. It's still a tad pricey but usually that drops just before release (July).
November still for Vol-3.

I just hope I'm still young enough with sufficient eye-sight by the time Vol-14 gets released!

Hmm, it seems vol 2 is just a wee bit thicker than vol-1.

^^ Heh, the latter, actually.
With all the anime and other films flooding in as of late, I've been spending more time in my theatre than in my wing back reading chair in my library.

That, plus trying to enjoy the lovely summer we've been having.
I find I read a lot more in winter, as when it's -40 outside, there's little incentive to play outdoors, heh.

With luck, Vol-3 (due in Nov?) will be here by then and I'll binge read them.
