* Some of my favorite westerns are Young Guns 1 & 2, Desperado, and Maverick, but I left those out since most people have probably already seen them, and tried to go with some maybe lesser-known (but not obscure) ones
* I tried to vary mine up - drama, action, comedy, animated, foreign... even a musical
* I am not sure I would call Ravenous a western, but that's how Letterboxd categorized it, so I am going with it.

I almost rec'd this too, but didn't have room. It's actually pretty funny.
I was disappointed the first time I saw it, but liked it more on repeat viewings. I think the first time I was just expecting laugh-a-minute comedy like Family Guy, whereas this was a more traditional comedy.
