I have all the new Call of Cthulhu edition in slipcase too, but I never played the game. I need to find some players!!!

The Berserk Guidebook was released in 2018 (it cover vol 1-40), it's the same size as a regular volume:

It's in PB, was there ever a Hard Cover vol?

I feel your pain wrt CoC, I have no opportunity to play either whilst we are in lock-down. Still wonderful reading though!

It might be included in the last HC of the Deluxe series. That last volume (14) will only include 2 tankobons, so they might choose to fill the space with the guidebook or any other extra material

Isn't the US edition Darkhorse? I don't think they'll let them go OOP. Will just do reprints.

Maybe, but Dark Horse also publishes anything related to Hellboy/BPRD and they becomes OOP real quick. When the books get reprinted, it's usually in paperback. But you are probably right about Berserk. I doubt these will go OOP that soon, anyway, not before the series ends.

Volumes 1-6 are currently Out of Stock on Amazon (only available from Marketplace Sellers), but I guess they'll re-order some and if they becomes OOP, Dark Horse will probably choose to reprint them.

Nope. It’s the upcoming tentative final chapter of Berserk.

40 was the last volume released and there are 7 chapters (including the finale) yet to have been collected in tankōbon format. So unless Miura’s assistants continue the manga, Berserk will likely conclude with Vol. 41.

If anyone still wants all the berserk hardcovers deluxe..Bullmoose has all of them in stock and the November for pre order

They shipped mine in a big box with air cushion and priority mail for free.

Did someone in the other thread say there are color pages but the Deluxe sets don't include them?

That's correct. There's no color pages in the Deluxe volumes. The back of each volume has the clean art of the single volume covers (in color of course), but that's it. Starting with Deluxe 8 there is fold out posters at the front of the book, larger sizes of the posters included in the single volumes.

I pre-ordered a copy of Young Animal 9/24 from Amazon JP. Glad I got my pre-order in a couple weeks back, it appears to be unavailable now.

Yeah dark horse never has adapted the manga 100% faithfully but I take what I can get when it comes to Berserk. Been reading since 2004 and remember when the first 3 volumes got translated. Those were the days....

I preordered 3 copies myself 1 to stay sealed, 1 to read, 1 for my nephew.

I also preordered 2 copies of volume 41 with the cd etc from amazon jp. Can't believe this maybe the end...

Sigh... Amazon has smelled gold with Kentaro Miura's passing.

Vol-8 actually went UP in price on Amz.ca instead of slowly trickling down, as they have in the past.
The cost for shipping from Amz.com keeps that off the table so bit the bullet at $65Cdn.

I was able to get a good deal on the Canterbury Classics ed of "Le Morte d'Arthur" leatherbound for my Son-in-Law (I have the Easton Press deluxe leather) so, I pushed the button on both.

I've got Deluxe Vol 9 pre-ordered for $29.99

I'm keeping my pre-order despite buying volumes 25-40 in single volumes because I couldn't wait another year or two for Deluxe to catch up.
