Does anyone know when vudu iTunes or prime will get season 4 of static shock. the reason I ask is when they got season 3 it included the missing episode toys in the hood available to buy for $2.99. but season 4 in general including the missing episode now you see him… is not up anywhere.

Still a ways to go to catch up to the space occupied by D+ and Netflix, but at least it's decent growth. And certainly I am way more interested in what Max has upcoming than what D+ or Netflix does (or any other service frankly).

I'm watching Fanny and Alexander for the first time and I'm wondering if anyone else can confirm that the audio is properly synced? The audio doesn't seem to be in sync with the picture.

Thanks.

i have a question. Let's say a movie is leaving at midnight and you decide to start it at 11:59 just one minute before it's set to expire... will they let you actually finish the movie?

You will be allowed to finish the movie until its done. You will not be cut off once its removed. AS long as you keep it playing and not pause or back out of it.

The bold part above is a very important point. I learned that the hard way when I was about 3/4 through a movie one night and I was too tired to finish it. I came back the next day to finish watching it (not realizing the movie was scheduled to leave the service) and it was gone from my Continue Watching list. Lesson learned for me! Oh well!

I don't see how this is a big deal but I guess maybe I'm overestimating the general consumer.
My assumption is that if you are paying $15 a month for HBO/HBO Max, you enjoy the content and are consciously subscribed - won't these people just re-subscribe the normal way? I mean, we're talking a couple minutes of work here.

But you always hear about these people who don't check their credit card bills and just mindlessly pay for subscription services - those seem like they should be the only subscriptions that this should really affect (long term at least). They will lose those "zombie subscriptions." But anyone subscribing through Amazon and that invested in the Amazon ecosystem probably has a Fire stick/Fire TV that supports HBO Max.

So last week my mom gave me the heads up about HBO Max being "free" to our respective households because we subscribe to Spectrum cable TV's silver tier to be able to watch NBA basketball. Once I figured out how to sign up, I have the streaming service sending the content to my 4K screen via an app on my Playstation 5.

Over the weekend I tested out a few things and overall I have to say it's pretty decent since I don't have to pay extra for it (I don't even subscribe to Netflix or Disney+ or Hulu). I usually get discs (buy or Redbox rent) for the stuff I want to see out side of digital store rentals, so this is a great addition for my wife and I.

So far I've watched the first 4K Matrix flick, 4K Ford vs. Ferrari, 4K Reminisce, and the HD animated Batman: The Killing Joke. I was surprised that the video quality was acceptable since I'm usually a snob on image quality if I have access to the best possible version. I'll run more tests soon to see what rivals my UHD discs (like Aquaman).

Any recommendations for original HBO movies/series to check out? I'm not exaggerating when I say I've watched none of them over the past few decades. I tend to like action / sci-fi / crime-dramas / mysteries.
