ya my previous order got the price adjustment down to $13.

Some people on the thread in the non-SB forum are saying their orders are being cancelled, but mine is still showing as good. Anyone that placed the order before the price issue get their orders cancelled?

My Amazon got canceled as well with no notification. Had to go to my canceled orders to see it. But I ordered one from Best Buy as well. Will see if Best Buy stays active at $12.99

$18 with shipping still seems like a little bit much for this title, for me personally. And yet I pounced when DeepDiscount had it for closer to $15 w/ shipping. So I went ahead and ordered from Best Buy because I kept feeling nervous they'll raise it back up.

I'm just so conditioned by Mill Creek titles being like $5-8 and bargain quality. Is this an actual great deal, or just early access to the price it'll be down to shortly after release? Will the steelbook be very limited, or will it be lining the shelves of every Fry's and FYE by the summer? Who's to saaaay? Will a motorcycle crash through my window and crush me, causing a premature death while I'm thinking about this trivial stuff? Whoooo's the saaa

Its really wild people saying 18 is high for this movie. I remember paying 30 for a bootleg on eBay. In a slim case with paper artwork. I have two copies of the VS UHD and this is worth the $ for the steelbook alone. Let alone if I missed out on the VS release like a lot of other people did. I would pay 50 for this steelbook just to know I got an official release. I think it will be somewhat limited but enough that you don't have to preorder it . I'm sure it will still be available for next Christmas

Yeahh it's why I had to add in, "for me, personally" But I totally get that owning this movie has been worth even $100+ for some people.

That's good context though. I forgot to even consider the pre-Vinegar Syndrome efforts to own this.
I'mma just thank my lucky stars we get to own this in an official package at this point. While also silently hoping a store pick-up option gets introduced so I can save 3.99 on shipping.

Crap. Amazon canceled my $12.99 pre-order for this today. They have the right to do so, I suppose, but that in no way takes the pain away from the sting.

At least I got the Blu/DVD for The King Of Staten Island from them for $4.45 yesterday. Even arrived with a perfect slipcover.

I placed my Amazon order on 12/18 when it was first listed at $35.99, but it changed to $12.99 with the error and has not gone back up or been cancelled.

Did everyone that got their order cancelled place the order at the $12.99 price or did you already have the pre-order in and get a price adjustment?

Posted in the other thread too, but:

I chatted in asking what was going on with the cancelation (I legit searched for this thread because I felt like a crazy person that it wasn't showing in pending orders at any of the usual spots) and they said it was canceled by Amazon and they'd have someone call me. I was called within 2 minutes and they said it was a mistake as the system's cancelation reason was "title not released" which made no sense as it was a pre-order. They issued me a credit of the difference in current price to what I paid so that I could re-order and only pay the $12.99.

It issues as Amazon Credit so if you ordered from BB, you can theoretically just keep the $22.

Would recommend calling.

Just checked mine - I placed the order when it was $35.99 and it shows that they adjusted the price to $35.99 but it's still an open order. Fingers crossed it stays active for both of us.
