Daniel Craig in this movie is, without a doubt, the ugliest James Bond ever. Not even post-surgery Roger Moore in ‘A View to a Kill’ was as ugly as this. Also, shit movie, as is all the Craig ouevre. Good riddance to him and all you idiots who liked him.

Default Moonraker

In the book of Moonraker there are only 3 00 agents in the section.
007. 008 and 0011.

Anyone else think Daniel Craig would make a good Zod. I can see him in his Superman 2 outfit and giving Supes a bad time.

Which disc did you watch? The US one has a different encode to the rest of the world, with all subtitles burned-in.

Yeah, as much as Universal did a great job of mimicking the theatrical subs, they're still player generated on the UK disc.

That's Universal for you, pretty much any movie with theatrical subs are player generated outside the US release.

This is what I love about WB, no matter where you buy the disc from and what language you're watching it in, you'll still see the original subtitles.

Yep, that's why I try to only buy US versions of Universal discs.

I assume there’s still no IMAX version of this available anywhere in the world?

Are TV broadcasts expanded ratio for the IMAX scenes, a la Force Awakens, anyone know?

The Craig era had the best (Le Chiffre, Silva) and the worst villains (Blofeld, Safin) at the same time.
Agreed. One caveat though. The flashback started the film on a bad note.

I'm not the biggest fan of Daniel Craig as Bond. But, in just judging his movies? I would rank this one as his 2nd best behind Casino Royale. I liked it right up until nearly the very end.

You mean 1.9 and 1.43? I only saw this in digital IMAX but I believe all the 1.9 footage was 1.43 as well (if you saw it on a true full sized IMAX screen). Usually for home releases that footage is presented at 1.78. Like Nolan movies, Nope, and so on.
