I am in Australia and I own an Australian PS3. It is Region B and certainly not the same as a US Region A PS3. Whoever wrote that article obviously does not know what he or she is talking about with regards to Australian PS3.

Thanks for the reply. I was certain they fell under the Region B banner. Really have lost all respect for that company.

I preordered V1 and V2 at the same time from NISA back in February. They charged my card immediately but I still havent received a shipping notice for either. How does Right Stuf send it out before the manufacturer?

I have Madman's Haruhi BD and it plays just fine on my European PS3. They're full of sh*t.

From earlier newsletter announcements, I got the impression that they get their disks pressed and packaged on the East coast. Rightstuf is in Iowa meanwhile NISA is in CA. If it got sent directly to them, maybe?

Just a wild idea that likely makes little sense.

You could be right. On an unrelated note, I wish this BD had English subs. I would have imported in a heartbeat.

It's noitaminA, so Funimation has first dibs if their contract is still in place.
(Or at least that's my understanding)

It is no longer in place. noitaminA shows are all fair game for licensing, whether home video or streaming. Fractale was effectively the last show under the agreement. I presume it wasn't beneficial for Fuji TV enough to keep it going.

Not for sure...I order a lot from NISA and they usually never ship before release date. However, I have had them ship games the weekend before to make sure delivery is on release date.

Someday's Dreamers is a slower, slice-of-life type show with more emphasis on character inter-actions than on action. It does take place in a world where magic exists, so there are fantastical elements to it. I enjoyed the show quite a bit, especially the art and music. Be prepared though that the main character and her magic supervisor are both melancholic people.

Thanks for the heads up! Does the character's melancholy attitude get in the way, as in is it annoying? If it doesn't have action, would you say it's more of a drama or comedy? I always like the whole supernatural/magic themes in my anime, so initially that's what intrigued me.

Excited my job got in my copy of Sekirei Season 1 in today! I can't take it home until Tuesday, but it's nice to see it's there for me then! Even though it's $5 more expensive than Amazon, I have it completely paid off for after my employee discount and tax ($30.91, not a single penny of my money, all trade credit).

I used to have Sekirei Season 1 on DVD until I heard about this combo pack version. Kind of weird that it's 1 of those Blu-ray case in DVD size packaging considering the 2nd season was done in those DVD cases since I thought they cared about consistency.

Oh and that's one heck of a deal you got. Plus that sticker is hilarious. Even the normal price is pretty good considering that the regular DVD version cost more.

At least it fits properly in the box that came with season 2 even with the DVD size slipcase on.

Like John said, if you keep slip on, it'll fit just fine. And yeah, I get all these sets with most store credit, so I pay dirt cheap out of pocket; love my job! It depends by sets, but our Anime is never the "MSRP" of like $69+, or whatever it is most of the time. Usually they're from that to like $47.99 for most LE sets.

Has anyone else noticed that the recent LE releases by FUNimation haven't also come out in a regular version? I'd like to think that when I pay a premium price to have a release on day 1 because of its LE status like Black Butler S2 or Okami-San & Her Seven Companions that I'm actually getting something that will not be available 6 months down the line in a sale.

In case you haven't seen, it's simulcast on Crunchyroll. HD if a premium member.
