I wouldn't mind a sixth, so the series has a two-trilogy overall balance. As long as they keep it badass, and have a good title. Also, John McClane should die at the end of 6.

Why? I've thought about this, but can't think of a good reason he should die. Maybe in one of the first two films he could've made the ultimate sacrifice, but these newer ones are pure fantasy, and don't warrant it.

True to that. I was surprised at the low numbers for them given its a slow time of yr and not much to choose from. With DH, the runtime concerns me as wella s coming out on Valentines weekend. What a sell that has to be to your significant other- " I love u honey. Lets go see John McClane blow shit up."

That's a good point, and I certainly have no expectation whatsoever of it happening, but I think it would bring closure. But you are right, 4 was a bit too fantasy. 5 looks like it will go that way. Maybe 6 can bring it back to grittiness, but I doubt ti.

6 should be about him and his kids go visit mom at christmas whos now the new CEO of Nakatomi. Hans Grubers Son or Daughter are trying to finish what there father started. So they take over Nakatomi again with John and family inside. Chief of Police Al Powell and John must save Nakatomi again to round out the series!

Sometime back I remember reading an article where Willis said he wanted to make two more Die Hard movies. And we're getting the first one of those two next week.

The fifth film is 97 minutes long. Now I know length is no barometer for a film's quality but 97 minutes ffs.

Is this a 15 in the UK? I hope so. Die Hard doesn't belong in the 12a category at all.

This film will definitely do better than Last Stand and Bullet to the Head at box office.

I certainly hope so, having said that, i rather enjoyed The Last Stand. The reviews are saying that 'Bullet' is basically rubbish, so i do have hopes for Die Hard 5. I mean, how difficult can it be to put together a competent director and half-decent script for a DH film?

Die Hard is a great franchise, I hope this doesn't bomb either.

Default What do you think "DIE HARD 6" will be called?

It seems that the franchise still has plans to make one more entry. I have a really good feeling that this one will be the final. Since they're always creative with the titles, what would you imagine number 6 would be called?

Some of my ideas:

Go big or Die Hard
Why won't you just Die Hard
The Bigger they are, the harder they Die Hard
Die Hardest: The Legend of John McClane

Trust me, I can think of worse.
