Next tried to connect to my LAN servers and got a timeout, tried to ping devices and there was no response.

Disconnected all devices from the Wi-Fi router except the office PC and it worked as it should. So through a long process of elimination I discovered it was my Sony BDP-S6700 Blu-ray player. With it connected nothing on the wired LAN worked, with it disconnected all other devices worked as they should. So I did a power cycle on BDP-S6700 and reconnected to the LAN it everything worked fine. GREMLINS
But according to alchev only wi-fi can have issues it happens some times, a device ends up making too much noise on the network. Glad you found the issue and wheree able to fix it.

agree I only connect devices when it is needed and never leave devices that don't need it connected. IMHO it is the best way to know what data is coming in and out.

D&D was epic in Dolby Cinema - see it on the biggest screen with the best sound system you can! It's got a lot of heart, too.

This is another franchise that is quickly running out of story to tell. It was supposed to be about Rocky training him to become the champ. And then they made Creed II which was supposed to be like a callback to Rocky IV. I just don't see how this new one is relevant to the story.

I have Rocky 1, 2, and 3.

I haven't watched any of them in decades but I liked all of those at some point.

I saw Rocky 3 in theaters when it was released.

I'm sure a lot of folks like Creed. I have not seen them.

I recently hosted Homefront which was written by Sly. That's a good one.

Agree, had a blast with D&D. We saw it on the BigD screen at our local theatre. Kind of like a mini IMAX screen, including great sound. Not Dolby Cinema, but great presentation nonetheless.

Speaking of Dolby Cinema, I got our tickets for the Thursday night showing of GotG Vol. 3 in Dolby. Can't wait for that one.

I got my tickets for GotG Vol 3, as well for DC Saturday night. I tried for Thursday and Friday but the showtimes do not gel for me and the IMAX is not available, just a ton of AMC Laser screens.

Apple fairs quite well but to a trained eye it isn’t hard to spot imperfections in more challenging scenes. Typically mild pixelation.

Of course, streams are always subject to network issues, however slight they may be. Even several seconds of issues are too many for me when it comes to HT. for casual living room watching when I’m zoned out on the sofa, I can forgive a few minor issues, for a movie night, no f***** way!

Have you tried the Dune HD Homatics Box R yet, guy? It's been out for a few days.

Edit: Lame, AVSforum says it doesn't have DTS-HD support yet.

Someone did a comparison to some other media players and this one was behind the Nvidia Shield Pro so I will stick with the Shield and ATV4K for streaming and the Zidoo, Zappiti, Oppo for file play.

I was going to see "Air" tonight at the theater but decided not to after all. My Star Trek Next Generation film 4K disc set will be arriving today, so will probably stay in and watch some of those instead.

I will be seeing Pope's Exorcist next week, though. I will skip Renfield in theaters and wait for home video on that one.

There are many variables that can affect quality and how easy it is to discern the difference that is there. What you should do is do your own tests anything else is kind of useless. In the end it is your set-up, eye sight and how much you care that matters.
