Excuse me while I blow the dust off this:

For recommendations, you can peruse ANN's lists of the best rated, most popular and genre recommendations. If you're only interested in blu-ray, you can then cross-check with blu-ray.com's list of anime blu-rays.

Since anime got segregated into its own forum, I haven't really needed this old post.

You might also enjoy One Piece and Fairy Tail. Those are two of the best long-running anime series around.

You need to tell us which series are your absolute favorites. Your collection is all over the place except the Ghibli movies.

Well it would be Rurouni Kenshin. But I have the entire series on DVD already, and the one missing Blu-ray from my collection (Tsuioku Hen) is OOP in the US A few third-parties are selling it directly from Japan for around $80 on Amazon, but I don't really trust third-party merchants on Amazon since I've gotten quite a few bootlegs in the past from third-parties.

My second favorite in my collection would probably be a tie between Claymore and Spice and Wolf.

I would recommend both Berserk, One piece from what is pictured.

That sounds like you prefer historical fantasy. Both of those are excellent shows, though very different in tone.

Get Ninja Scroll if you don't own it. Maybe Battle Girls: Time Paradox if you don't mind a little fan service in your historical action. Legend of the Legendary Heroes might also be up your alley.

Fate / Zero if you can afford it.

Also, even though not Blu-Ray, expand your horizons a little with BECK if you like music and want a great slice of life series with an excellent English dub... Greg Ayres and ALL the cast did a fantastic job with the songs!

Warning though...language is like in Black Lagoon...so it's kind of rough.

^There's a Blu-ray release in Japan- of course, no English subs or dub.

"Warning though...language is like in Black Lagoon...so it's kind of rough." I love nasty language-the more the better.

If you're still looking for recommendations, I'd say you seem like a Slayers kind of guy. It's a fantasy adventure that never takes itself too seriously. You'll stick with it for the lovable characters. Plus I think it's available for streaming from Netflix.

I would suggest Black Butler, Baccano!, Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom, and Darker than Black. All of these titles have a lot of good battle scenes, along with good characters and fantasy/supernatural elements.
