The dinosaurs all looked a lot more convincing in Jurassic World than they look here. Especially the raptors.
It's pretty clear who's "joking" here.

Yeah you. Unless you actually think that and in that case for the sake of those around you seek mental help.

Saw this tonight, was initially super cynical about its existence, but it's pretty good: solid 4/5.

Ha ha ha ! There's no need to be aggressive. Most are of the opinion that the VFX, while being more detailed and having more resolution, does not look as convincing as those in the original trilogy. There are moments when they do look real, and many other moments when they do not. But the movie is impressive regardless. Which is why I watched it 4 times in the cinema.
So, just chill dude!

If you mean Howard's character wearing heels they didn't miss anything, it's part of her character's anal professional obsession and is commented on in the movie by Pratt's character.

Yeah, I thought it was obvious that there was a reason behind her wearing the heels throughout the film. It's in keeping with her character.

Didn't know that. Hope it won't distract when I finally get to see the movie...

This reminded me of these anomalities you sometimes catch in movies. I remember, for example, an epic - not sure if it was Ben Hur, Spartacus or some other historical epic - but characters had wristwatches. One soldier even wore sneakers. No wonder the Romans managed to build an empire...!

Yeah, the CGI in the first 3 films is good, but JW trumps them in my opinion.

The CGI in Part 3 wasn't all that great.

http://www.comicbookresources.com/ar...bal-box-office

"Jurassic World" is now on the all-time box office medal stand. The Hollywood Reporter has word that the fourth film in Universal's "Jurassic Park" franchise has now earned $1.522 billion in worldwide box office totals, moving it to No. 3 on the all-time list -- displacing Marvel Studios' hit "The Avengers," which ended its 2012 run with $1.520 billion.

This leaves only James Cameron's massively successful films "Avatar" and "Titanic," No. 1 and No. 2 in all-time worldwide box office, ahead of "Jurassic World." There's a large bit of distance between those two and any contenders, though -- "Avatar" made $2.788 billion for a run that started in 2009; 1997's "Titanic" grossed $2.187 billion.

Well, I can't speak for that guy, but I thought the dinosaurs gave layered, subversive performances, conveying everything they needed to in order to get the message across without a word of dialogue. Besides, Americans don't read subs anyway, right?
