I just saw the movie and something was baffling me...

Where is the control room exactly?

Throughout the whole movie, it's been that one building that had the helipad. Every time someone went to the helipad they were at the control right before.

But at the end of the movie, Claire goes into the innovation center and she says that the control room is in there.

I'm just confused...

Also, the film sounded glorious in Dolby ATMOS.

The first time I saw the movie, it was in an AMC ETX theater and it didn't impress me.

Almost a month later, I saw it at a VOX Max theater (Middle East) and the Dolby Atmos sounded phenomenal. They really utilized all the speakers in the auditorium. In particular the Raptor scenes.

Also, the final battle was a thrill!

I thought it was a fun movie. What was amazing to me was
[Show spoiler] Claire could out run the T.Rex with her heels on.

[Show spoiler]T-rex is old and been in her paddock for years...I doubt she's as stealthy as she used to be.

Unfortunately the film wasn't released with an ATMOS mix. What you likely heard was the 7.1 version in a theater equiped with ATMOS speakers.

I always thought the Innovation Center leaded to an underground section that housed the control room and labs. The building with the helipad on isn't too far away in this photo to think they wouldn't be connected.

I hope this movie gets only released on DVD and not on Blu-Ray (and got forbid on 4K!!!), thus the blatantly bad cgi could be masked a bit. But it would still look bad and story would still be bad, too...

Bad CGI exists, but JW is far from bad. It was good, not amazing, but good

The CGI was a mixed bag. It looked pretty damn good in some scenes but in others (usually whenever the raptors were in motion), it left room for improvement.

Effects are the least of my concerns when watching a film, though. I can't remember the last time I watched a film and thought the CGI was flawless, so I'm not gonna hold it against Jurassic World. I've seen the film three times now and I still think it's great.

Yeah it was. Other than the stampede scene It's easily one of the best efforts ever. The scene of blue stepping back from the Rex into the puddle blew me away

The labs are in a underground complex leading to the halipad.

JW's no masterpiece but it's a perfect Summer film: Exotic locale, uplifting score, lot of mayhem but still light and upbeat in tone.

Watching the BATMAN/SUPERMAN trailer - which I liked - I wonder if mass audiences just really don't want even mildly bleak and cynical at the moment. That would account for MAD MAX FURY ROAD's (relatively) low take and bodes ill for movies like FANTASTIC FOUR and DC's upcoming slate.

It's Batman v Superman. To lump it in with Mad Max and Trank's FF in terms of profitability is just

Seriously though Bats v Supes is going to make bank during a time when there is no other competition from another film. When it's released is almost as important as it's reviews. I think if Terminator Genisys dropped in August it wouldn't have bombed as bad as it did.

Batman v Superman will have no real competition, could see it giving this movie's opening a massive run. Still wonder what the sequel to this one will be about.
