I remember my first xbox 360. Then I sold that, and later got another xbox 360 and sold it. I kept my PS3 all through that. Then I bought another xbox 360. Every time I bought a xbox 360 it was to play the new GoW or Halo 3/4 titles and they were all elite versions.

Now I have a PS4 with a 1TB hybrid drive, great performance but I'm looking to get a 2TB soon!

I'm still waiting to get my XB1. No interesting in the PS systems. Never got a PS3 nor do I want a PS4. My buddy got PS4 just for Bloodborne. Sad part is, that in our group we all played mulitplayer games on 360 haha. I guess he'll be playing alone now.
And what makes it worse is that The Division is coming. I guess I need to stop buying anime and get a XB1.

I just bought a second PS4.

I get what you are saying. Even if I did not buy an XB1 right away I know I would have to buy one this fall. 4200+ RB DLC Songs on Xbox Live, None on PSN & my group ain't buying a console until RB4 is released so I get the friend + multiplayer + buy this console... Connection.

I like other gaming besides multiplayer shoot em' ups aka single player games, so a PS4 is a must for me.

I now own an Xbox 360 and PS4 and I'm just fine with that setup! I get to play most Xbox exclusives, and newer games with PS exclusives.

Hate to switch the topic but I don't know if I got a definitive answer. Will a 128GB flash drive allow me to play old Xbox games?

I believe it does. If I recall you just have to have some sort of memory. I have never had a 360 with out a HDD so I can't be 100% certain.

If there were any games I would get a PS4 for it would probably be Day Z and or H1Z1. Just because I know how much fun my group would have with those game. Another reason I don't want to get a PS4 is money. I would probably only have enough for one console. Like others, I enjoy playing with my friends so I'd choose the console we all play on.

Until you originally posted this, I didn't know you needed more then 4GB for the console to recognize Xbox titles. I never gave that area a good test as I didn't own many Xbox games but read comments that backwards compatibility isn't full proof.

Also forgot about the 2 TB external option.

Price is as good enough reason as any & I agree you will get more enjoyment out of the console your friends go with for multiplayer. I added a 4TB WD external to the Xbox One. 1st thing you will notice after having the thing awhile is where did my memory go?

Microsoft did keep their prices lower in Canada. I heard this, but actually saw it in the store yesterday. Controllers are $15 cheaper. Console is $50 cheaper. I think games are cheaper too but didn't look.

Basically, it's more expensive to buy a PS4 & Accessories then Xbox One in Canada.

Wow, that is cool that XB1 prices are better in Canada. I should move. Sucks that the prices for the PS4 stuff is higher.

Unless you are playing online then neither. If you are playing online the LD2 imo is better.

The first Dead Island I thought was better then Riptide.

Compared to PS4 prices in Canada
(Compared to US prices)

All new release games are $10 cheaper ($10 more then US)
All controllers are $25 cheaper (Same as US)
All consoles are $50 cheaper ($50 more then US)

Hi, new to xbox360. I held out until I found a good deal. I only have interest in the exclusive games. So, a few questions.
I'm running a Xbox360 E 500GB Fable/PvsZ bundle

~The 360 seems to d/l significantly slower than my PS3/PS4. I am wireless on all and all are in the same cabinet. So location is not the issue. Will the MS Wireless N adapter make it faster?

~Vertical or flat? Does it matter? I'd prefer flat but if Vertical will help maintain, I'll do it.

~Coming into the console late, most of the games I want are dirt cheap or expensive, no mid ground. I went to game stop *barf* and triedpicking up a few used games, all were in awful shape so I refused the sale. Used and new games alike, the discs feel cheap. edges feel unpolished, not rough, but more of the die that cuts them maybe was dull. GoW 2 disc edition is like that (new from amazon), Left for Dead GoY (from Target), used Saints Row 1 like that too. Is this just the quality of all?

~Splinter Cell Conviction, Fable 3 from ToysRUs, both have perfect circular mark not quite a 1/4 inch into the data portion of discs, looks like a scratch all around, they play fine, is that normal for the games. Others too, but those I remember in particular.

No, it will not. That was designed for the original 360 and won't work with the slim or E. At least as far as I know it doesn't work for the newer models. If you can, it is advised to hard line in versus wireless. That is if you can.

Flat, flat is always better and has been the recommended way to use the console.

Most of my disc are like that. I would guess it would be whoever is pressing them is to blame. Also be careful because the 360 disc are known to crack in the center if the game spindle is one of the tighter ones. I had a MW3 do that and thank goodness GS was willing to replace it.

Were the game preowned that you got from TRU? If so them maybe that is slight laser burn. I would have to see a picture to make a proper assessment.

http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Wirel...n+adaptor+Xbox

When my connection was wireless on the Xbox Slim S Console I found download speeds insanely faster. The consoles have built in wireless N antenna's but they are not as good as dual band antenna's.

The improvements I noticed were from 4 hours to download a 6-7GB game without adaptor to 1 hour or less with the adaptor.

A few rings around the discs is something I've seen on a few games but isn't common on new games. If you notice these rings, it's likely due to a cheap pressing or the disc was used on a bad console. I wouldn't say all, but most Xbox DvDs have rough edging & shouldn't have any effect on playback.

I'll inspect all of the games to see if the ring is on all of them. All that I bought ended up being new games aside from Saints Row 1. That seems to be impossible to find around here new.

Thanks both Neoz & Derb! The information was greatly appreciated.

I just did my first system update today, took about 20 minutes. I've had my console for a year and I never thought or cared about doing it.
My dashboard looks so different now! It's like a new console when I turn it on.
