Catching up on the past three months (April, May, June) of spending. I had fewer lapses this time around, if any. First three months of spending spoilered below. So overall very light spending for me at just under $80 total over the past three months. I bought only anime though I didn't necessarily set out to make it that way. . .I've just been watching it more than anything else this year.

It's been nice watching more of what I already own and keeping up better with streaming content rather than amassing titles to add to the backlog every month. . .a backlog I'm still working through. I'm also able to spend even more time reading, which is the ultimate cheap hobby and one I love as much as movies/tv (library card + digital manga + audiobooks = good times).

So, total spending through six months is about $402, which is what used to be within the normal range for a month's worth of buying. I'm sure in the future I'll treat myself to a bigger month, but for now it's feeling like I've truly kicked the old habit of bulk buying by default. I'm coming up on one full year of reduced spending. August 2021 was the last time I spent $400+ in a single month. Rest of 2021 only had a few months over $150, and this year it's obviously been cut back even further.

Sorry to the boutique labels out there maybe wondering if I'm doing ok since they haven't seen big orders from me in a long while.

Through 2020 and most of 2021 I was spending more than that per month. I had a few purchases early on where I had free discounts or GC's to make it cheaper for me out of pocket, but it's accurate for totals. I wish I'd done a little better, but I can't deny the progress made over the last six months in changing my buying habits. My goal for the next three is to chill out on HK and Kung Fu movie blind buys. I'm finding those to be really hit or miss for me (over saturation maybe?). I definitely had a lapse in February blind buying Black Cat and Robotrix 88 Films LE's for $37.50 a piece. . .
