I think it's more indicative of the production n line approach to big movies these days. So many writers clouding the vision, less thought being placed on coherency, a director who cares more about the tech and fx than anything else.

Terminators seem to be the worlds worst assassins in these movies.

But the real answer is because there would be no movie otherwise.
Unless you get a perfect headshot you need to be close to confirm the kill. Trying to kill people from far away has a far higher chance of failure and tipping the person off.

I think Terminator Salvation was the one where the Terminators kept grabbing John and throwing him. Crush his ass! I mentally checked out after that.

This ended up being pretty entertaining. It has some cheesy nods to the previous ones but thatís ok.

Why would they? Terminators might be near perfect machines but they cant control example a truck like in T2 where it kept bangin the walls ect, T-1000 cant drive perfectly because its out of its ability to control physics of this planet.

I saw that but I believe that version does not have Dolby Vision. Not sure how much that matters to people.

I was just talking to somebody about the old "grab and throw" routine I see all the time. You get a powerful bad guy who goes around snapping people's necks or impaling them, and then when they finally get their hands on the main character, they always do the old grab and throw.

Yeah i hate it. At least in some movies you could say the thrower is toying with the person or whatever. A terminator doing it is just the dumbest and most absurd thing though.

"It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, until you are THROWN"

Edit-Just watched the video and this guy knows whats up. The Jon vs Whitewalker fight he showed was definitely anothe really bad one.

SteelBook looks better in person that I thought it would be. It's glossy and looks more photorealistic than the pictures. The white background is a little more gray and weathered looking, though you can't tell from the pic.

Giving this a second chance tonight thanks to Best Buy's B2G1 free sale. Slip is very nice, glossy, raised title and striking color.

Which one is this? Best Buy?
I have the Amazon one on pre-order but I have no idea what it looks like yet.

Looks like BB raised the price of this to $31.99 and then put it on sale for $29.99, which is the price it has been up until now. Love it. Also Ford V Ferrari is showing at $31.99.

Found this far more enjoyable with my second watch though it's definitely not without issues. Disc itself reminded me very much of my Dolby Cinema viewing though my C7 did better justice to the beautiful colors (the Dolby I went to has theater lighting issues that affect the screen). Action scenes are LOUD but there is a perpetual rumble throughout the film that I don't care for. I'd blame it on my setup but it seems intentional as it was present at Dolby Cinema as well.
