Bump. Not a high volume of submissions so far. Wonder why that is?

Wouldn't expect many yet. Not many use front projection here. Part of the reason I started this thrread was to help show others that absolutly stunning results are now possible via front projection.

I would be tempted to vote for this image simply because it is Neil Peart, lol. I play drums and love listening to Rush, so I may be prejudiced, lol.

Remember rules: only vote based on the image, and not the user, what you think of the movie image is from, etc.

I took my pics with over 2000 hours on the bulb. The picture was much better out of the box once I calibrated it. Plus i'll probably leave this competition open for a bit over a month.

Hi when I upload screenshots to imageshack/flickr the colors get messed up and the size changes even though my setting on imageshack says keep original. Any idea on why these hosting sites change my pictures? What sites are best for hosting? Thanks!

Why not just post them to your gallery then post them here (right click properties on the pic in your gallery). If you don't wish to do it that way I use photobucket myself.

Here's an example of your equilibrium pic.

I hope to add,... My kidz just keep my dizzy and tired lately though.

Glad to hear it's not just going on for a week or something.

Edit-- The picture in my gallery is from a CRT FP (Sony G70) which was a better projector in many ways than my current digital projector (Sony VW60) but I think I'll be able to get a better screen shot from the new pj. I miss that PJ but it started getting fritzy so I replaced it.

From the rules in the first post.

If you submit more then three pictures in this thread and don't specify [I will give around a weeks warning before submissions close to give everyone adequate time for everyone to decide]. If you do not select which you prefer and submit more then three photos I will simply pick whichever photo I think is best and that will be your submission in this competition.

Hey guys....I posted a few pictures the other day...but I thought that i would post some more! Figured i'd use Avatar being that it's regarded as the BEST blu-ray

I also have these pictures in my gallery...close and far versions. I think they may actually look a little clearer in there also.

Nice setup and shots Kurtis! I agree - they do look sharper in your gallery. I wonder what's up. When SuntoryTimes linked mine from the gallery there was no quality loss though.

I don't know how to "link" them from the gallery so I transferred them from littlepic.com That's the only way i know how to do it! BTW househead...I LOVE the screen in your theater! Looks awesome!! That's my next upgrade...a 2:35 screen & anamorphic lens!

Thanks Kurtis. Since you're already familiar with Carada you will love it.

Suntory - props for posting a LTROI pic. That is a beautiful looking film.
