Not a lot to chose from so far but If pressed here's my rankings.

1. Chappie
2. The Martian
3. Kingsman: The Secret Service
4. X-Men: days of Future Past
5. The Expendables 3

Others I've watched are Hitman Agent 47 and Fantastic 4. I have Sicario, Enders Game and The Last Witch Hunter to watch and San Andreas and Mad Max to be delivered. I expect at least the bottom 2 to drop off when everything is watched.

Haven't seen Smurfs 2 disc but on amazon hdr it's number 1 still for sure. It is THE reference for 4k hands down.

But of those I own...

1. San andreas
2. Expendables 3
3. Kingsman
4. Chappie
5. The martian

The 1 thing I absolutely hate about kingsman is the stupid anamorphic lenses they use that blurs the top and bottom of the image, Hollywood needs to stop using that.

I picked up Smurfs 2 today!!! I also own Sicaro, Mad Max, Hitman, and the Amazing Spider-man 2. So I've got some watching to do, but I've also got more movies I wanna pickup.

Does anybody rent them yet?

6 San Andreas
7 Kingsman
8 Martian
9 Mad Max
10 Expendables 3

Am really quite happy with all of them though except for the black level issue in Expendables 3.

yes, we've been discussing expendables 3, there are 2 "fixes"

1. lower your brightness setting by quite a bit. on my tv the standard brightness is 45, lowering down to about 30 fixed the issue.

2. on the k8500, select "rgb enhanced".

Thanks ray but for some reason, rgb enhanced made no difference on my end, even tried setting my TV's range from auto to full with no luck. I did lower brightness on my tv (from default 50 on my end down to 35), and switched the k8500 to dynamic.

That helped improve the image somewhat but at the end of the day, I would really like to see a replacement disc that fixes the problem for us.

The movie's resolution does look great it's such a shame they couldn't get the black levels right.

Checked out Scorch Trials. If am not mistaken, I think 3.4k raw files were used like in San Andreas, movie looks awesome.

Of the seven I own so far, my top five:

1. Sicario
2. The Martian
3. Mad Max: Fury Road
4. X-Men: Days of Future Past
5. Kingsman The Secret Service

My tv doesn't have HDR so my five might change once I view on a newer screen.
