Wow really? all the films to pick from Sony and you pick this?? nice movie but how about Silverado instead or Men In Black or The Natural. Groundhog was fun but not worth a UHD release.

There is no universe where Silverado has more cultural relevance and/or fandom than Groundhog Day. It makes sense we'd get a new version on a new format for the 25th anniversary.

Groundhog Day is more popular than any of those except MIB, of which the trilogy is getting released.

And Groundhog Day is a great movie, unlike the others mentioned.

It seems like so many here in the forum don't like comedies, some are very forthright in their dislike. If I could afford them all, my collection would be one third comedies. This UHD will be fourth dip for this movie.

Still trying to get every Woody Allen film on bluray.

It's a wonderful film and the recent 4K remaster was supervised by the DP from a 6K scan. Colour oddities aside this could be the flag-bearer for 35mm on UHD.

I'd go for Lost In Translation or Ghostbusters over Zombieland.

No Andie MacDowell, though. For shame.
