It's a Warner release, not a Disney release.
It's just released under licence

And Disney uses different HDR logos normally, so does Paramount.

All have the same Warner style now.

Do older movies really benefit from 4K upgrade? Like do the studios really put any effort in to them?

Assuming this is a serious question, the answer is an emphatic "yes." Aside from resolution, the 4K upgrade will almost always have superior color, compression and contrast compared to a regular BD.

Do older movies really benefit from a blu-ray upgrade? Like, DVD is fine.

I'm aware of that, but because you said earlier that "The Prestige uses a Disney style slipcover as well" is what confused me. Thanks.

Yeah but the studios have to put in the effort to make the 4K Bluray look better then the Bluray version.

Exciting! Possibly my favourite Nolan film. I bet this will look great in HDR. Day one purchase for sure. Along with the rest of the 4K Nolan releases. This will bleed my wallet dry for sure. )

Go look at Blade Runner 4k and you'll see what an old movie can upgrade too.

As long as someone who cares about the movie (like Nolan in this case) supervises it, the movies, regardless of age, should look fantastic.

From the press release. I understand it to be an individual release in addition to the boxset.

“The Prestige” will be releasing as a 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (4K UHD + Blu-ray + Digital Copy) that includes the insightful The Director’s Notebook: The Cinematic Sleight of Hand of Christopher Nolan, a multi-part behind-the scenes look at all aspects of the creation of the film, and The Art of the Prestige interactive gallery.
