I still haven't seen Scarface. I've had the comic book art Steelbook of it for years (the one that came with the 1930s version on DVD as a bonus), but haven't watched it yet. I'm thinking I'll just wait for the 4K.

You guys are jumping the gun, and getting excited way too soon! This is not an official 4K Blu-ray announcement, with a release date scheduled. It wasjust an informal discussion plan. Nothing has been substantiated as of yet, and I wish the OP would stop making these various threads.

This country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the 4K Blu-rays. Then when you get the 4K Blu-rays, then you get the woman.

Thanks, Universal. *facepalm*
I'm not sure why you would suddenly except a remastered BD at this point by Universal. I think the only chance would be Warner, but then even some of their remastered BDs have not always turned out the greatest.

I really wish they'd include ALL of the deleted scenes from the TV version. They're THERE...

Maybe since (as mentioned) the steelbook BD came with that nice DVD of the original (1932) as a toss in we'll get an upgrade there as well and get a BD of that included with the 4k (wishful thinking lol..the original is fantastic).

The theory used to be that studios wanted a larger hardware base before releasing their better catalog gems as they would sell better that way vs when there are fewer players out there. I always had a hard time understanding that logic because if I want a title, I am going to buy it whether it's sooner or later.
