I actually like Apocalypse up until the third act. I like most of the X-Men films, except Origins: Wolverine. I'm somewhat excited for this one.

It's absolutely true. I couldn't even name another XMEN movie if I wanted to, aside from the one that I got for free for linking some accounts to my Movies Anywhere account.

And even then, I don't know that I would have the title right.

Don't take this the wrong way, but that seems to have more to do with your own ignorance than it does the quality of the films or how they're advertised. I really don't understand how you could have avoided the existence of any of the past X-Men films, unless you have been living in a vacuum or are only just now coming of age enough to be aware of them.

Oh, I know XMEN films exist. I know Hugh Jackson is the Wolversion in most of them. But I never saw them advertised, even once.

Until now, when Disney has taken over, and is pushing this one like madmen.

Logan and X-Men: Apocalypse both had Super Bowl TV spots which is pretty much the most substantial advertising you can do for a movie.

I didn't Watch a Single X-Men film until early 2016. Around the time the latter releases(DOFP notably) were in my radar but wasn't big into the Comic book movie stuff at the time. Everything before DOFP wasn't known to me.

Marketing these films are essential for Studios to get our butts in seats, just it's been aggressive the past couple of years for certain movies, often Blockbusters.

I guess preorders for this should be up any day now. I hope they keep this cover art for the U.S. release.

They could pick any one of the posters from a hat to slap on the front, and I'd be happy. They've all been really great.

I’ll wait & blind buy this one along with the rest of the X-Men films. If it flops then it’ll probably get a quick release.

I tend to ignore RT or really any reviews. If I like it, I like it. Still don't care for the MCU much and everyone raves about it.

There was a bandwagon. I don't recall that. Ever since the MCU came into the picture the only bandwagon I ever saw was the " I hate the Fox X-Men movies and Fox needs to give them back to Marvel Studios so they can do it right" one.

I'd pay $75 dollars for this on 4K right now. Ok, maybe next week when I get paid. But you get the point. I'd pay $75 for Speed 2 on 4k too. But that's really neither here nor there. My point is I love the X-Men franchise and think they are the best comic book movies made (most of them anyway). It's the MCU that's starting to become garbage to a certain degree. Or at the very least very samey.

Well youíre definitely in the minority as far as the MCU, but youíve got some comic book films in your collection.

Well to me only Last Stand & Origins:Wolverine are worth dumping on, the rest I quite enjoy. Oh & he was saying he didnít care much for the MCU, which is fair & his right.
