well with this being a Universal release there might be a chance the UHD will feature Dolby Vision as well as the obligatory Atmos soundmix.

I love my son dearly but he has one defect: he likes cats! Probably going to take him to see this.

I don't think Universal does Dolby Atmos. I think they just do DTS:X. Unless you're joking.

That's not a defect. That's smart thinking. Hot chicks like cats too. Like Lisa Loeb.

.
they do, but they seem to toggle between the two, and siding towards to DTS.

I think I'd rather watch my cat's litter box for 90 minutes than see this movie. I honestly thought this thread was a prank when I first saw it. The groans this trailer got at the theater was significant, like cringe level 10 significant. I'm happy another movie gets a UHD disc release, but I think this movie bombs harder than Pearl Harbor.

I don't know. People love them some Taylor Swift (God knows why) so this could open strong. Though I think it will sink faster than the Titanic.

One of the details of the Titanic sinking that makes it so excruciating and still difficult to think about is that it took quite some time for the ship to sink. Jesus I'm about to have a panic attack just thinking about it...

This has the potential to look spectacular in UHD.
Shot in 6.5k, IMDB doesn't say the res of the DI. It better be 4K!

Maybe because she actually writes, plays and sings her own songs, has an incredible stage presense and tries to connect with fans on some level.

I wondered the same thing until I actually got out of a preconcieved notion bubble and checked out her work. The appeal is obvious, even if one doesn't care of pop country music.

Looks like it. It's opening right alongside Star Wars next week, does it really stand a chance?

Wouldn't surprise me if they end up canceling this UHD release later down the line if it ends up being a flop.

I'm surprise that Cats wasn't made into a movie a long time ago. The original Broadway musical premiered in 1981.
