If you were that sick you should've stayed home. Those movies were not that important for you to go see while spreading your germs and giving it to everybody around you. Are you sure you had a cold and not the flu? I wouldn't go to work if I was that sick, lest go to see a movie!

I do agree with Geoff however, in that Mortal Engines looks like a much more appealing home video purchase when it comes to the general public; I can't imagine your average Joe seeing Cats in the "new release" section and deciding to pick up the 4K version.

When it comes to 4K releases, Universal's policy seems to be more on "would the audience of this movie be interested in a 4K version" and not on how well it performed, as even hits like Downton Abbey, The Upside or Last Christmas haven't gotten a UHD release.
Something is certain, they'll release the 4K streaming. But streaming still will never reach the quality of physical 4k blu ray.

Watching Cats while high on catnip. How fitting... How much catnip does a human being need to take to get high in the first place, though?

Still could be on in Europe / Germany, though, you never know what Universal will do.

I don't think many people are buying 4K discs. It's a bit of a novelty. Think of it as vinyl. Not every music album nowadays gets a vinyl release, that's the way films are. Not everything is going to get a 4K disc release, it's just that simple.

This is what I'm praying for. Walmart and Target still have pre-order listings for this movie, so now I feel tempted to call and ask if they know for a certainty that this will get a 4K release here.

Maybe it will be a store exclusive?

The greatest showman is a cinematic masterpiece don't even dare compare this Hollywood disaster to that. The only reason it got some bad reviews at the beginning is because people politicized the greatest showman because of who it was about. The movie itself has a great message and has helped so many people. That is all I will say on that. As far as Cats, I don't see this getting a 4K release at all. It tanked bad and won't make it's money back. They need to plaster Taylor Swift's name all over it or it won't sell and as far as she's concerned she hasn't talked about the movie since. She's more interested in promoting her documentary . She couldn't care less about this movie. I hope it gets a 4K release just because I hate Blu Ray movie only releases but this will no where be a cinematic masterpiece like the greatest showman.

Edited post above, thanks. Also, I am a huge Taylor Swift fan myself so I would still buy this disaster to add to my Swift collection but I won't buy the blu ray. If anything, snag a 4k digital if they drop the 4k but I will definitely wait for a sale because the movie I couldn't care less for.
