WW pickups take effect on the same day. Too players being suddenly injured/covid protocols/rest and not be able to fill that spot until the next day. Also players coming off IR and not being able to start them till the next day.

JJJ was a nice WW pickup for me when he was finally dropped but he suddenly sat out some crucial games which were a waste because Rob Williams didn't play a couple either. It made me sick that Clarkson decided to go cold when he did because I really needed scoring. He and Smart ruined my FG% whenever they played. I should have dropped Smart and kept Washington but I had enough bigs.

Lacit: What a shame to see Drummond drop off like he did. For a guy who was easily getting something like 15+ points, 20 boards, 4 assists, 3 steals, 3 blocks when he was on the Pistons to being just a possible double double guy on the Lakers is quite a fall.

i'm likely not making that change. the main reason being that i already feel there are too many WW adds/drops as it is and i dont want the league turning into "whoever can add the most players per week wins" type of league. which making that change would certainly result in.

drummond turned from one of my best guys to a WW type contributor. thought there was hope since AD was out but nope

I agree with Lacit. The default setting on FAs is better. More strategizing involved. Changing it to same day would only benefit those who can add players immediately once updates are out.

Congrats on the chip at the other league, Beef! I had no chance. lol

And shout-out to Hoke and Flint. Those were two of the closest matchups I've ever played.

Great job running both leagues again, Lacit. Can't wait for next season!
