Lunchables Nintendo Switch sweepstakes (5,000 systems) 8/1 to 12/31

Note, this doesn't start until August 1, but there are so many prizes that it might be worth noting for the future. There's an online AMOE that opens up for the Nintendo Switch systems (code entry) on December 17th, I'll try to bump the post then too if I remember. And there's a mail-in AMOE starting 7/16 for those who have 3 x 5 inch index cards/paper, envelopes, and stamps on hand.

If you already have a Nintendo Switch, there's a separate instant win with prizes of a game, or Joy-Con, or carrying case.

The code entry requires a purchase of a specially marked package, so you'll probably start seeing them in stores around August.

I don't know if its going to be a giveaway of a Switch Lite or Switch OLED or regular Nintendo Switch. Comes with 2 digital downloads games from a select list too.

It will be quite a bit of time before I get them, usually 8 - 10 weeks after the contest ends.

Hopefully I get the Animal Crossing pastel ones.

That would be a cool score if it is the Animal Crossing set. Do they indicate them as a possibility?

Nah, I doubt it. Even though Animal Crossing is one of the games being given away, those are super hard to find at stores.

You have to be able to find Lunchables first. As a long time grocery store worker, there has been a shortage on them lately, just like anything else in today's world.

Got these in the mail today. They ended up being the neon purple and neon orange. Pretty nice looking - I only have one pair of the gray ones.

I'm too used to the pro controllers and the full sized ones like the Power A wired ones (or the full sized cheap controllers made in China ones on amazon). The joy cons' small buttons and spacing hurt my hands.

I still plan on keeping these though.

Ari, this sweeps had an instant win portion (already ended 9/30) with prizes of mostly games and controllers.

The code entry sweepstakes portion of this one has mostly prizes of full Nintendo Switch systems. The free AMOE entry opens up later in December.

I never really thought America could ever run out of Lunchables... they launched these when I was a kid, they used to take up an entire section of the refrigerated food aisle, nowadays its much smaller.

As an aside, the book Salt Sugar Fat: How the Food Giants Hooked Us, by New York Times food investigative reporter Michael Moss, had a very big section on Lunchables and its marketing and distinctive yellow school bus colored packaging.
